We provide a variety of ways to have a fun time starting with arcades, a space for DND, table top games, and board games. The place was nice and appetizers were okay could’ve used more salt but the entree was not good they lacked seasoning period i got the Alfredo I wouldn’t recommend drinks was strong taste like rubbing alcohol but I guess it worth the price and it took forever to receive my food I think I wanted an hour appetizers and an hour for entree I was there for three unnecessary hours

This place is our go to spot! Food and drinks are well priced and the atmosphere is amazing. April and Milton are good stuff! April always has a good vibe to have around the bar and is super personable. I actually thought I lost my wallet here once and I left a voicemail. Milton reached out to me the next morning by 8AM and checked the camera feed for me! This place clearly cares about their customers and is probably one of the most underrated spots in Kenosha.

The Checkpoint is a superb addition to Kenosha. Upon walking inside, you’re transported into a comfortable, friendly, fun game-filled and nerdtastic environment. There are a solid selection of arcade and other games, along with a very healthy selection of board, card and other similar games.
You can tell there has been a lot of thought put into the design and decorations, from the different movie, game and TV show memorabilia (e.g., Planet Express Sign, This is the Way sign), to the cool hand painted bar map of Middle Earth and the handcrafted drink holders next to the games.
The owner is super friendly and easy going, and it’s clear there are plans to continue to invest in the design / experience aesthetic of Checkpoint, along with continued events. Definitely exceeded my expectations, and cannot wait visit again to see how Checkpoint continues to grow and evolve!

There’s board games that are free for everyone to play and plenty of vintage video games. The prices are very reasonable, as well as the price of their pizzas. The bartenders are friendly and have a fun attitude, I live 40 minutes away and I have been here twice in the last month. I highly recommend you give them a try.

Edit: THIS IS NOT FAKE, I even will attach the original review reply that the owner has sent. This is deeply unprofessional, we have the bank statement of the refund after we caught them up charging us, calling a review fake when you know you made a mistake is openly manipulative, take this as you will (you can see them admit to finding it in their system wanting “to talk about it” I did not reach out because I’m not bothering with this ever again but I guess that means I am a liar!)
Be warned about your checks! I had gone in with a few friends to start the night as their sober driver to find out my friends were getting drinks added to their tab without knowing! (it was completely empty so it wasn’t someone else in the bar) what should have been about 27 dollars was 50 bucks! I made him go back and complain and the bar tender had added 2 drinks to the tab. this could have been a very easy thing to explain away if it was packed but we were the only people there it doesn’t make sense. just watch your tabs here!

Stopped in last night for our first time. Bartender was nice, it was clean and quiet. Good music and game selection. A little disappointed they didn’t have either of the drinks I wanted, but everything else was well stocked. Will definitely be back and recommend to others.

Seriously cool bar. Definitely a hidden gem in Kenosha. We went on a pretty quiet night, but I’m surprised more people dont know this place is here. It has cool basement vibes with retro arcade games, cool decor, good music, board games, cheap drinks, and it was clean. I would definitely go back with friends.

Every time that I have gone here, it’s always been a blast! Mike (one of the bartenders) always caters patrons as he sees fit. I’m not super talkative towards the bartender, but he always checks in with me at the best times. Milton (one of the owners) is a super chill and nice guy, too.

A group of us stopped in around 11:00pm and stayed for 2-3 hours. It was definitely a fun time. There are some older arcade, pinball, and claw machine games that are available to play. It was very clean on the inside and the owner was very nice and personable. From conversations with them, I can only expect that this place will get even cooler in time.
