We just have my birthday party there and he took excellent care of us. The best ribs and chicken strips I have ever tried! John custom marinades his chicken strips and prepares them fresh on every order. The baked beans were extremely flavorful also. Pizza is outstanding! Don’t think about it, go there! OMG don’t forget the hand-dipped ice cream and huge cookies!! This place is awesome!!

my first time ordering here. every weekend i usually get my kids pizza for dinner. i wanted to surprise my kids with something new, so i ordered “THE BEAST” the biggest pizza they have. the worker even proceeded to carry it to my vehicle. my kids loved it. feed 5 boys 3 adults and had left overs.

Thought I would try a different pizza outfit in the area and was not dissapointed. You can taste the difference by using fresh ingredients, instead of frozen. Price might be a challenge for some, delivery was very smooth and on time.Pizza size is larger also i noticed. Instead of 1 to 1 1/2 “of crust rolled up,which shortens the pizza and saves the pizza company money with less area to add items, which then cheats the customer of getting their monies worth! We have ordered food from Hippo’s on many occasions and everything has been excellent! The chicken tenders are the best and freshest in town. The ribs are delicious. And the pizza is awesome – and comparable pricing to the national chains, but made with way better ingredients and tastes 100x better. The entire restaurant is incredibly clean, too. Would recommend visiting the next time you’re near Silver Parkway in Fenton!

If you like great homemade pizza and not to mention the most tender chicken strips, you’ll love Hippo’s, home of Michigans largest pizza. They have a really great staff and atmosphere. Great place for a nice family outing or even just to grab some lunch. They also have ice cream and a large chalkboard for the kiddos.

These are literally the best chicken tenders I have ever had. I thought it would be a tough sell for my family to come here for pizza since they love bone-in wings, but once they tried it, they were hooked.

I had never heard of this establishment before this evening 1-7-26, we came in super late before close, the owner/chef was really friendly, he gave us free samples of the chicken strips and ice cream, I got the basil pesto sandwhich, excellent choice, highly recommend, great sauces, the wall is one big chalkboard , perfect for kids and adults. Thankyou so much for the awesome expirence. We will all be back.
