This is the first time I’ve had a bad experience from this place, and might I say I’m disappointed because I called them to tell them my food was not packed properly and is spilled in the bag so I need my order replaced. I had ordered a shrimp egg foo young and shrimp fried rice combo and they stated they would replace it with a shrimp lo mein instead, I declined because that is not what I needed replaced. I’ve been on hold for a long period of time and refuse to redo my order. I’m very frustrated and disappointed with the service.

I like the food. It’s okay but had a very bad experience with the cashier. I had take out one day from here and I liked it so I came back but I decided to eat there instead of leaving . The cashier brought our food in disposable plates but didn’t give us extra plates for us to serve our food. She wanted everyone to eat from the same plate it seemed. I went and asked her for an extra plate and a to go box. She gave me the to go box but said no more plate. No more plate. She looked like I was bothering her and upset. She could’ve charged me instead if they are so cheap instead of sending me away like a child without listening. Bad customer service. We were not going to eat from the same plate. I was shocked by how rude she was.

First time ordering here, only picked here because it was close to work. Service was meh, food was horrible. Ordered the honey chicken with fried rice, and fried wontons. The chicken was so hard on the outside and stringy & tough on the inside. I ate maybe 3 bites and spit one of them out. The majority of the meal went in the trash. Wontons tasted like deviled eggs on the inside. Not cream cheese and crab. Waste of money. At least the weather is nice and I got a good walk in….

Got takeout from here – the General Tso’s was delicious and the other dishes were alright (orange chicken and beef w/broccoli). Super convenient to have a chinese spot right downtown, and it’s comparable to other places in/around the city.

I love 88 Chinese Express! I have always ordered delivery, so that’s what this review is for. The food is very fresh & super tasty. I have never had any issues with my orders & the food arrives just as I asked. You can also add comments to your order, in case you have a special request. The menu has all the “standard” items you find at most Chinese restaurants, but they also have a Special Diet section “w/White Rice or Brown Rice. All Steamed No Salt, Oil, Corn Starch and Low Calories.” I definitely recommend 88!

I lived in lancaster for 2 years and decided to the chinese food I live right down the street from the restaurant I ordered a large sweet and sour chicken and a large beef lomein the food was hot a fresh when picked it up I waited 10 or 15 minutes the staff was really nice and friendly the atmosphere of the restaurant was nice. The food was fresh and hot ill definitely be back.

The food was very good. We were in town for a show at the old theater. We went here for a light meal and quickly also. It was very good I happen to be a person that likes spicy Chinese food and some places are very soft on their space. I asked for spicy here and I got it not too much just right. Love their shrimp fried rice. Literally my husband and I order either everyday or at minimum 3x a week same over n over. Pork fried rice sweetnsour chk shrimp friedrice and scallops and honestly it never gets old! I love how fresh their food is! Driver for delivery can definitely be a jerk though.
