This is an absolute must stop when in the area! Delicious food and desserts. The best and most wonderful treat is their original whipped cream. I’ve never had anything like it! Staff is super friendly as well.

Came here at 1102. Lunch buffet begins at 11. Everything was cold. The potato soup was not cooked right. Cold gravy. Hard potatoes. No seasoning. Bland food. No one checks on us. Potatoes looked old and hard. I will not come back here. This place just isn’t the same.

My dad and I came here for breakfast. I had been here before but not in about 8 or 9 years. The food was delicious and you get big portions. I ate American fries, biscuits and gravy, and chocolate pancakes not knowing that they give you a lot. Our waitress was nice and checked on us often. I will come back here and would recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting good food.

Excellent wait staff, efficient, friendly. We really enjoyed our meal. Grilled catfish to perfection. Willing to make substitutions: Cole slaw ( tasty creamy) instead of fries. Reasonably priced. Hope to return soon.

We went today for 2 reasons:
1.) It’s Father’s Day.
2.) Fran & Marilyn’s has All-You-Can-Eat Haddock on Sunday.
We arrived about 4, beating the dinner rush. We were greeted immediately and a waitress brought menus and asked us what drinks we wanted.
Within a few minutes we ordered food, were provided drinks, and off to the salad bar. It was stocked with fresh vegetables, and appeared clean, not smeared or covered with old veggies.
Our dinner was delivered as we finished our salad, hot and prepared just right. The waitress ensures we had all we needed before we started eating, and came back several times to fill our drinks.
Overall, as has been our regular experience, Fran & Marilyn’s was a pleasant day. We will return, and advise others to likewise do so.

There were 4 of us. We ordered our food, after a 15 minute wait. After waiting for 30 minutes we had to check on our food. The waitress didn’t remember our order, then she checked in the kitchen. After a 45 minute wait, 3 people got their food, not me. Everyone ate their food, not me, never got my food.
Would not recommend this restaurant. The food wasn’t good, poor service and the waitresses were arguing in front of the customers. No apology for my missing food.

Server must have been having a bad day. Never smiled 1 time until we asked about the desserts. Green beans tasted old. Baked potato had been under the warmer for hours. Both entrees were “best” part of the meal. Had not been there in years, but definitely will not go back at 3 in the afternoon.

Incredible food! Stumbled upon this gem while visiting from St. Louis, I had the breakfast ponyshoe, the strawberry rhubarb pie, and a hot chocolate – all simply delicious. The owner and staff were courteous, professional, and incredibly personable. Will be returning!
