I had a very concerning experience at this restaurant. I ordered a fried meat dish, and when it was served, it was extremely hot—so hot that it actually melted the Styrofoam container it came in. Seeing the container melt was alarming because Styrofoam can release harmful toxins when exposed to very high heat.
I hope the restaurant considers using heat-resistant or safer packaging for very hot foods in the future so customers don’t have to worry about possible toxins or contamination.

Ate dinner here with my mother after we had finished shopping at ASSI market. I ordered the shrimp omurice while my mother had the shrimp teriyaki meal. The omurice was very big with a salad, bowl of miso soup and ketchup on the side. My mom’s meal was also big with 4 pieces of sushi, a small salad, a bowl of miso soup, the teriyaki shrimp and a scoop of rice! The omurice was very delicious with the egg layer being not too thick and the salad complemented well with the shrimp fried rice mix. My mother had great comments regarding her meal as well noting the fresh taste and overall feel good portions. The atmosphere and wonderful customer service by the people here makes us want to return in the future and check what else in on the menu!

Decided to finally try this place out after shopping at Assi. The price was very affordable for the amount of food you get! I love how it’s nothing crazy, just some good food for a good price. Everyone was extremely nice as well! I can’t wait to come back!

Every time I come back to my family home in Gwinnett on the weekends, although I love my mom’s cooking, I secretly grab a bowl of Wasabi’s sashimi salad / chirashi bowl to bring back home to Atlanta to enjoy. At a stunning $7.99 including hot, perfectly cooked rice and miso soup (not too salty, mind you), whenever I get this meal, I feel like I’ve won something.
The service is quick and friendly. I think once I ordered this bowl, walked and looked at some bread at the nearby Mozart bakery stall–the whole walk could not have taken more than 2 minutes, and my order had already been sitting on the counter. The lady at the counter gestured to me to pick up the food, and thanked me heartily. Man, they’ve got this takeout shabang all figured out.
Check out the freshness of the fish and salad in my photo. Never have seen a wilted/nasty salad green or tasted any fish that was off in any way. Do I live next to the Tsukiji Fish Market? I wish, but this makes my pescatarian heart very happy.
You got it? Cool. Just don’t tell my mom.

We enjoyed the food at Wasabi. We tried the buckwheat noodles and it was a big portion. The fried fish portion was also large. The lunch comes with miso soup which I found very salty. They also have complimentary barley tea. Next time I will try their sushi.

This is a great little ramen shop in a food court. I will just say that when you can find these authentic purveyors of simple but delicious ramen, don’t be surprised when your food is well above expectations.
The menu can be challenging because they cater to an Asian clientele, yet they are very helpful and eager to please.
I had the cold buckwheat soba and I was astonished at how delicious it was. What’s more encouraging for a return visit is the price! Everything on the menu is very reasonably priced, almost unbelievably cheap for such high quality fare.
I will be eating lunch here on a regular basis!

I come here for donkatsu (pork cutlet) once a week, and they’ve never steered me wrong. For the price, the cutlet is so good, the sauce is amazing. The service has also been great, but probably helped that they ended up knowing my name because I came so often LOL.

I didn’t have a chance to eat the food because of terrible service. I attempted to get the udon and tonkatsu combo ($8.99–a great deal) but the front desk lady said the food is going to take a while. I inquired how long it will take and the cook in the back shouted out, “We don’t have time to make it. Just tell her it’s going to take a long time.” Obviously they don’t feel a need to serve everyone.

Don’t come here.
The lady at the counter is so rude.
You have to beg for a napkin.
Then you can get a napkin with her unfriendly face.
The fish cutlet has chunks of uncooked flour stuck to it.
