Viet Taste was a surprise. We were in Chilliwack for a short visit and felt like something other than the usual burgers or pizza. Although the exterior of the Viet Taste restaurant is less than inviting, we found the interior to be bright, nicely organized and welcoming. The service was great: servers were courteous and helpful. The food was delicious! My Grilled Lemongrass Chicken and Pork Brochette was wonderful, the pork in particular was so tasty and succulent. The next time we’re in Chilliwack we’re definitely stopping in for another meal!

very bad experience here at pho viet taste. i ordered food from skip the dishes. the food made me sick. this was the only thing i ate that morning and i immediately became sick. i called the staff to let them know that this was completely unacceptable to be selling spoiled food, they never got back to me. i also sent them an email , no response. this terrible experience followed by the lack of accountability convinced me never to go back. Below is the email i sent in September last year.
I just spoke with one of your staff members regarding an order that I placed through Skip The Dishes on September 6th. Order #714401561 I ordered 1 soup and 1 chicken and rice. I ate the soup Friday night on September 6th. The next day on Saturday September 7th, I had the chicken with rice. I became sick immediately after consuming the chicken. It was the day that I was to fly out to New York. I had a terrible morning due to the poor quality in the food that you served me. The chicken was the only thing I ate that morning. I nearly missed my flight.
I am not asking for any discount or refund for my order. The only reason I am sending this email is to let you know that it is unacceptable to serve your customers spoiled food. I will never order from your restaurant again and from this I hope you learn a lesson in respecting your customers and not serve them poor quality food. If you choose again to serve your customers with bad quality food, you will continue to lose customers and they will go elsewhere.

Food was great. Service was great. And the best part was they had a nice highchair for our little one. Parents with infants will understand this but having a highchair that keeps your kid in their seat actually allows you to enjoy your meal. We will definitely be back.

Perhaps the best dining value in Chilliwack? Good quality Vietnamese food with great flavours. They have beef stew with noodle soup as well as rare beef satay soup on their menu, both are excellent and make this restaurant a level up from comparable places in the area. Best Pho I’ve had in Chilliwack.

Food is very, very good. Restaurant is decorated nicely and the staff are generally friendly.
I only deduct one star because the servers are kind of checked out at times and some don’t do quality checks to see if you’re liking the food which means you have to hunt them down when that happens.
The music is relaxing Vietnamese tunes but in my opinion it’s way too loud.
Sometimes prefer pho Galaxy over here for that reason even though the pho isn’t as good :/

I came to Viet taste restaurant for some pho to warm up after the Christmas Parade. The restaurant was very cold as though the heat wasn’t on. It took them 15 minutes to come over and ask what we wanted to drink and once we ordered our drinks it took forever to get them. My friends drink didn’t arrive until the end of our meal which was about 30 minutes after we ordered it. We took home our soup and were charged $4.00 for to go containers. I just had my soup now warmed up at home and there was hair in it that did not belong to me.
The food tasted good, however the atmosphere, the service, and the pricing ruined the experience and the hair in the soup was just the cherry on top. I won’t be returning to this restaurant.
