They are getting better since they first opened. The service could be better, the food is decent and they have ok margarita selection., my last visit I sat unattended for 10 minutes at the bar before anyone seen mez and the visit before that all the tvs on my side of the bar was on the same channel ♂️. They are my 4th favorite local mex restaurant, so I typically only get her 6-10 times a year.

The Place looks beautiful! Used to go there with an old girlfriend before it became Casa del Rio. The walls look glorious. Painted so well. Great servers and hard workers. The salsa needs more cilantro, onion, and garlic. The tamales have a terrible pork to masa ratio. Just dry too in the inside( A Salsa Verde or Roya inside makes a good tamale that stays moist. I know I make them better). Wasn’t impressed at all by the food, but a nice place. Maybe an off day, but lovely people.

I tried to call the restaurant multiple times after picking up my order and no one picked up. I wanted to discuss paying seven dollars almost for the queso sauce as you can see in the photo I got a side serving plastic cup worth of that for seven dollars which is absolutely mind-boggling and then my french fries I ordered for my children literally feel like they were cooked in a microwave And some are even cold inside. Easily the worst take out I’ve had in all my years. After opening up all of my food, I noticed that the burrito is the size of a child’s hand that I paid $10.50 for I did not get my Chalupa and I didn’t get my quesadilla. This is the worst establishment I have ever been to in my life it’s an absolute joke and no one will pick up the phone.

My boyfriend and I are local and this is one of our favorite Mexican restaurants in the area. It’s a no-brainer that when we want Mexican food, this is our first choice! The staff are friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere is clean and beautiful, and the food is fresh and delicious. This is the place!!!

We decided to get chips and queso tonight for a movie night and decided to go for more authentic instead of store bought. Wish we would have made our own… $40 for two queso’s and chips is robbery. Absolutely insane. We eat chips/queso at several other restaurants nearby and have never been charged this much. It tastes just like everywhere else too. $40?! We will not be back. What a joke!

They have done a lot of work to the restaurant to make it more warm and inviting. They have slowly been upgrading the menu and food options to make it more authentic then your typical Mexican food restaurant. Great service.
