My partner had a craving for sloppy joes and we drove from queens to try this place. It was worth it! I had the Mekong which was tasty. Apparently the menu was developed by an Asian chef! Next time I would add pickles and onions as they are freshly cut. The bbq hot dog with pickles and onions were also tasty. Our server was very helpful. It was nice that they offered junior options for kids. My son had an original with cheese and complimented that it was better than the sloppy joes at school. The music was also good!

Came to Farley’s for dinner tonight and it did not disappoint! Everything was amazing. I tried the BBQ one while my roommate had the Mekong. Both were delicious and packed with flavor. Couldn’t resist trying the hotdogs, great snap to them. So happy this place opened up right down the street from me. Will definitely be back.

Growing up, sloppy joes were a weekly staple where I’m from, but I hadn’t had one in YEARS until I stopped by Farley’s. And they did NOT disappoint!
I got 2 Jr Joes (aka sliders): The Original and The Mekong. The Original was tasty, but something felt like it was missing. Honestly, maybe just a pinch of salt or dash of soy sauce probably would’ve done the trick. The Mekong was delicious! I wouldn’t change a thing about it. The slider buns were fresh. And I also like that the joes were hearty without feeling super heavy and greasy.
The shop is super cute, has a very nostalgic feel. There was one person working when we went, and the were chill–got our order out fast.
One thing I hope they consider is adding a “naked” option. Like getting your sloppy joe over lettuce or in lettuce cups/wraps. You know a lot of folks are always trying to hit their macros these days and this is a protein goldmine.
Either way, I’ll be back soon to try more. I love this concept of fast food/fast casual that isn’t the usual burgers, chicken, or pizza.

Walked by and noticed this new spot for nostalgic sloppy joes… took me back to my childhood. The original and BBQ were delicious. LOVE that they have a $4 Junior size for a quick snack too.
So happy to have this in the neighborhood.

I had The Vegan + Pickles and it was so well seasoned and cooked, you couldn’t even tell it was plant based!
I took mine to go but I think it is best to eat it there since the bread gets more wet as minutes go on

If you’ve ever had a sloppy Joe, you probably have heard the trite comment “its so simple of a thing it’s hard to mess up a sloppy Joe”, which undermines the craft of making any meal. It’s the opposite, and I would argue that what Farley’s does with sloppy Joe’s is a class of its own and unique.
If you’re in the tri-state area…actually if you’re on the eastern seaboard you should make a trek to Farley’s to be lucky enough to try one of their fantastic Joe’s.

Not your average sloppy joe , once again Brooklyn outdoes itself and shows you how food should taste, the sloppy joes burst with flavor, the service was amazing, I’m making this restaurant part of my personality.

I never thought I’d be writing a 5-star review for a sloppy Joe joint, let alone craving a sloppy Joe in my adult life. (The ones my school’s lunch lady served were awful!) But earlier this year these guys set up a pop-up at my local drinking spot, I was too hungry to say no, and I’ve been hooked on Farley’s since. The vegan option is my go-to — make sure to ask for pickle. The vegan Sloppy Dog is a close second and no shame in admitting that I usually order both. These hold up well in delivery too.

Farley’s Sloppy Joes ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Fantastic opening day experience! Owner Sam and his team were genuinely excited to welcome guests. The Original and Cubano both come with nostalgic chip choices (Fritos or Ruffles) – a fun backyard BBQ touch.
Portions are incredibly generous – needed a fork for the leftovers! Sam even gave us a helpful tutorial on proper sloppy joe technique. The vinyl DJ out front and friendly staff created the perfect atmosphere.
Great food, warm vibe, and clear passion from the owner. Definitely going back!
