It makes sense why this place just made the Yelp Top 100 list for OC. The Sichuan style AYCE is a great value, especially because you can grab your own skewers and veggies from the fridge whenever you’re ready for more.

The marinated beef skewers are the best thing on the menu and hold the flavor of the broth much better than the plain sliced meats. Also, being able to do a three-way split pot is a lifesaver if you want to try the spicy house-made broth but still want a milder backup like the mushroom base.

Make sure to hit the appetizer section for the cold dishes while you wait for the broth to boil!

We chose the all you can eat hot pot option.

For the meats, we ordered #6 prime beef short rib, #7 wagyu beef top sirloin, and #10 chicken breast.
The chicken breast was actually the best among them.

For the soup base, I recommend the kimchi flavor. It wasn’t spicy at all and tasted really good.
One downside was the rice. It was too sticky with the grains stuck together.

The side bar had a wide variety of vegetables, fruits, and desserts, which was nice.

Nice to Meet You Hot Pot in Irvine was honestly a 5-star experience from start to finish. The quality of the food really stood out. They have premium meats and seafood, and the lobster option made it feel even more worth it. Everything tasted fresh and high quality.

I also loved their sauce bar because you can customize your own sauces exactly how you like. One of the coolest parts was their fridge section where you can grab skewers with different meats and seafood, which made the experience more fun and let us try more variety.

They also have really good drinks, and the service was great. The price is such a good value for all-you-can-eat, especially for the quality you’re getting.

Definitely one of the best hot pot spots in Irvine. I will 100% be coming back.

We had such a fun and satisfying AYCE experience. It’s $40 per person and includes access to the self-serve skewer and toppings fridges, sauce bar, appetizer bar, dessert soups, sliced meats, plus one premium item per person.
We ordered all of the beef options from the menu and were impressed. The meats were super fresh, and the cuts had really nice marbling.

Service was also amazing. Our water was always full, and extra plates were cleared quickly without us needing to ask.

I loved the self-serve fridge setup. Having items like quail eggs on skewers is such a game changer, especially since they usually disappear at the bottom of the pot. They also have meats on skewers in the fridge, but I personally preferred the thinly sliced meats you order directly from the server.

They even have potato noodles, which are my favorite, along with other veggies and seafood. Everything felt clean, fresh, and well organized, and the space itself is modern and comfortable.

Overall, such a great hot pot spot and definitely worth checking out if you’re in Irvine!

This is a screwer hot pot place where you can get variety of ingredients, some of them on screwer and cook them inside three different flavors of broths. We had shichuan spicy mild(which is probably the best), Don Yum, and konbu. As for the meat, we think the beef tongue and short ribs are probably the ones worth trying. They also have various appetizers to choose from and I would recommend the waffle fries which is just like chain store’s. As for the dessert, the brown sugar jelly is very nice and refreshing. Most importantly, the staff are very friendly and attentive and responsive, probably the best service in town. Nice place to hang out and really nice to meet you.

This is a great self-service skewer hot pot spot and definitely worth a visit if you enjoy hot pot. The soup bases are rich and flavorful, with plenty of depth—you can tell they don’t cut corners on the broth.

The sauce station is clean and well organized, which I really appreciate. There’s also a drink area available for an additional charge. One of the highlights is the refrigerated display: all the ingredients are neatly arranged, fresh, and clean, making it easy and enjoyable to pick exactly what you want.

Service is another strong point here. Even though the place gets very busy, especially during dinner hours, the staff stay efficient, friendly, and well organized. Be prepared to wait during peak times, as it’s a popular spot and lines are common in the evening.

Overall, solid flavors, clean setup, and fast, friendly service. A very satisfying hot pot experience.

Easily one of the best hot pot spots in town! The broth bases are incredibly flavorful—I highly recommend the classic spicy beef butter pot if you like a kick, or the tomato base for something savory and sweet. The ingredient quality is top-notch; the wagyu beef was marbled perfectly and the handmade shrimp paste was a highlight. Everything felt very fresh, and the dipping sauce bar had a great variety of toppings to customize your bowl.

Nice to Meet You Skewer Hot Pot in Irvine is a great spot for a quick and customizable hot pot meal. I tried the spicy miso, sukiyaki, and tom yum broths, and all three were flavorful in their own way. The spicy miso had a nice kick, the sukiyaki was savory with a hint of sweetness, and the tom yum was tangy and aromatic.

I chose a variety of meat cuts, and everything cooked fast and stayed tender. I like the skewer-style setup because it makes portioning easy and lets you try multiple ingredients in one visit. The broths soaked into the meats really well, making each bite satisfying.

The space is clean and modern, and the ordering process is straightforward and efficient. Overall, it is a solid hot pot option in Irvine if you want something warm, customizable, and easy to enjoy.

It’s finally soup season, and what better way to kick it off than with hot pot! This spot in Irvine — Nice to Meet You — definitely lives up to the hype.

They give you three broth flavors to choose from (yes, three!), and the options do not disappoint. Pricing starts at $29.99 for lunch or $39.99 for dinner/holidays, and it’s all you can eat.

There’s a sauce bar, a cold food section, and a fridge full of skewers seasoned to perfection — plus all the veggies you could ever want. We came for dinner, which means we got to enjoy their premium items like lobster tails, scallops, frog legs, and abalones.

My favorites? The pork belly and beef slices — both melt-in-your-mouth tender. Let’s just say it turned into a full-on protein feast.

They’ve also got a good selection of desserts, but we splurged on the matcha shaved snow (not included in the AYCE price) — and honestly, it was 100% worth it.

If you’re looking for a cozy, flavorful hot pot spot in Irvine, this one’s a must-try! Also, service is top notch! They have the sweetest staff.
