Good food and large portions, comparable to the Quincy location. Friendly staff.

Thoroughly enjoyed the Fried Dumplings & Wontons, as well as their Stewed Beef Lo Mien. Pork Spaghetti was good, but on the sweeter side in comparison to Bayao Cafe and Jollibee. Yuenyueng and Lemon Iced Tea were very good.

I would come back again.

Be aware they closed early at 7:30.
The food is decent and somewhat authentic. Big portion and came out fast.
The HK style milktea is good but certainly not the best in Boston.
I think it is a bit pricey considering the overall quality and setting.
The street outside is 2hr free parking if you can find a spot.

Great addition to the Malden area with authentic Hong Kong style food. I had the beef stew and wonton noodle soup to go. It was very tasty and reminded me of what I would eat in NYC Chinatown as a child. The noodle soup had good portions as well with several wontons and pieces of beef. Prices were quite solid ranging from $10-$15 per dish. Overall I would definitely come back again to try other menu items.

I have been waiting for a wonton noodle soup restaurant to open up in the area and so glad Saigon Corner has come to answer this craving. It’s filled the hole for the Hong Kong cafes that was missing in the North Shore. So excited to have them here! Did not disappoint!

It’s often difficult to find good Cantonese food in the Boston/Greater Boston area. This place hit the spot. Love their HK style milk tea, curry fish ball, and 雲吞牛腩麵.

This place is a disappointment compared to Quincy. I’ve ordered for takeout four times, and the quality has been terrible. The broth is tasteless 1 day and salty another day, and the staff is rude every time. I thought I’d give it another try yesterday, ordering extra wontons and noodles. That’s what they gave me—four wontons, and they said they were extra, but they were supposed to be eight. Go to Quincy, people. It might be a bit far away, but it’s worth your time and money.

Just had stewed beef lo mein with dumplings. It was excellent — the meat was practically melting, the dumplings were fresh and crisp (I mean, they were the opposite of mushy), The sauce was tasty and not too salty. I’m no expert on the authenticity of Chinese food, but this was not the American fast food version!

They skipped the entire “baked” part. No oven, no gratin, no golden crust, nothing. Just white rice, a couple of pork chops and a vat of lukewarm white sauce dumped on top like they were trying to hide a crime scene.

The name of this restaurant might throw you off, but don’t be fooled — it serves genuinely authentic Hong Kong comfort food, the kind you’d expect from a neighborhood spot in Hong Kong catering to locals. I’m extremely picky when it comes to Hong Kong–style noodle soup; if a well-known brand in Hong Kong, such as Ho Hung Kee or one of the Mak’s, serves something even slightly off, I can tell immediately.
With that in mind, Saigon Corner’s beef stew and wontons were quite good. I’d rate them as above average even compared with everyday noodle shops in Hong Kong. As the only game in Malden for truly authentic wonton noodles, they are 5-star. Their signature dish — beef stew with wonton noodle soup — is absolutely worth ordering.
