I recommend the combo. 2 slices and a drink for 7.50(?) if I remember correctly.
Give the place a shot. Not a lot of spots will just sell you a slice of pizza anymore.
I thought the price seemed a bit high from a single pizza without a lot of toppings but I left a small tip for my takeout order and left. Wasn’t wearing my glasses anyway
When I got home and looked at the receipt (total was $27.52, I could see I was charged for a “supreme” pizza. I’d hardly call 1/2 pepperoni a supreme… My fault for not catching it and questioning it at the store.
The credit card fee is 4%, which also seems higher than most places who charge a surcharge for cards.
The pizza itself wasn’t the NY style pizza I was hoping for. It was true to size with sufficient cheese and topping. However, the crust looked premade, didn’t puff up around the edges like real yeast dough should and it was vastly undercooked. The taste of the sauce, cheese and pepperoni was decent…I definitely have had much worse in Fayetteville! But for the price, I wasn’t impressed at all. Good pizza starts with a good crust. You can put the best sauce, cheese and toppings on it, but if the crust tastes like cardboard… ♀️
If you are looking for a nice hand-stretched, hand-tossed pizza reminiscent of the northeast, sadly this isn’t it.
It’s hard to find good pizza here in Fayetteville, NC, by my taste. I’m not a big fan of the Pizza Huts, Domino’s Pizza, Papa John’s, or The Marcos from around here, and I’m pretty picky. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted immediately. The establishment is nice. It’s very clean on the inside, which is something I feel comfortable with. Mr. Barry was so nice and explained everything on the menu and the daily specials they had for the day. The pizza that was on display for “buying it by the slice” looked and smelled delicious! My husband ordered 2 18″ pizzas. 1 pepperoni with extra cheese and 1 meatlovers with extra cheese. Both were delicious. It’s a bit greasy, but that’s pizza in general. The prices were about right for what we got. I’m happy with the purchase, and I look forward to next time. Thank you, Barry’s Pizzeria, for a pleasant dining experience
(Sorry about the slices gone from the picture. My husband couldn’t wait to eat it!)
The Pizza was ‘ok’. We order a 16in Pepperoni and the pizza crust was sorta thin. For $13 I kind of expected the pizza to be a little thicker. The taste of the pizza tasted like a slightly better Little Ceasers classic pizza. The Pepperoni and cheese were ok, but the sauce needs a little more flavoring and the crust needs to be ticker.
The breadsticks were bad and hard. You only get 3 of them and they hardly have any flavor to them. The breadsticks need to be slightly fluffy and have more flavor.
I wasn’t in the store, my cousin was but he told me that the man who I assume was the owner was a pretty nice guy so I guess the atmosphere is welcoming.
Overall this isn’t going to be our go to pizza spot, definitely gonna stick with Papa John’s. I feel that the price for one pizza is slightly too high compare to other pizza shops in the area, and the pizza needs better ingredients.
