The drinks were as usual but I hate this whole concept and won’t be back. If I’m in a hurry and don’t want to stay, I’ll go through a drive through but this location doesn’t have one. Instead, you still have to walk inside so it’s neither convenient nor appealing.
The inside can get a bit crowded, as busy as they get, with people both waiting to place their order and then waiting to pick them up. Yes, it can be a bit chaotic with all that, but there’s a method to this madness. The staff is busy preparing drinks and breakfast items in a strangely choreographed manner. They all work fast and focused and with as many times as I’ve visited, none of them has ever appeared frustrated or unhappy. Even when asking for suggestions or questions, the staff replies helpfully, not as it you’re interrupting their work flow.
My only complaint (and it’s not one that I’d take a star away for) would be the design of the location. From the door to the counter to the waiting area requires you to cross paths with a bunch of people, causing confusion and congestion. A second door close to the ordering counter would do a lot to alleviate that kind of mess.
