This is an occasionally pit stop when heading home from visiting the poconos. Good sandwiches, very reasonable prices and it has a small town feel. This past Sunday we stopped and for the first time I checked out the backery, I was thinking cookies and saw the Dutch Apple pie, I can’t remember the last pie I bought, and was taken back at the price. In the end, it is worth every penny, it is sweet, the pie stands up, no soggy mess, firm apples, cut to perfect bites, the crust, which usually is my least favorite part, was as enjoyable as the filling and the
crumb topping makes me feel like it’s 2 deserts, it’s good cold or warmed up. I will be killing it tonight and I may shed a tear.

Never will I ever go back.. girls more involved with counting their tips. They Act like you are the problem they didn’t want. Rude beyond…. And expensive. Owner flat out rude. Last minute stop to get a lousy cake ($27 bucks btw) and it was just that… lousy..
we try to support local businesses especially now… but not at my expense… guess what? If you are so “stressed “ then close up shop.. where’s my Firehouse Bagels!!! Can’t wait for them!! They know customer care… bye yellow cottage

Such a great place. They had extra so I got a free cheesecake sample. I tried the raspberry sour cream pie pockets, a blueberry one, raspberry rugelach, pecan chocolate chunk cookie, chocolate cannolo, and almond tart with raspberry filling.

I have no good things to say here. It’s actually shocking how bad it was. The general non friendliness/ hostility there aside, I got a plain roast beef sandwich on rye and a rum ball. As a deli you’d really have to try hard to screw that up.
The bread was so dry as to be crunchy and the roast beef was equally as dry and difficult to swallow. I ate half and am throwing the rest away out of concern of food safety issues. Why not get fresh food for your establishment?
The rum ball is just pure sugar and cheap chocolate.
The kicker – the absolute mind blowing kicker is that a small inedible sandwich and one – ONE rum ball cost me $15.00 FIFTEEN DOLLARS?! Are you kidding?
Every other deli in the area has decent sandwiches for $7. This was not worth that – So is a rum ball $8?! EIGHT DOLLARS?! I need answers here. How do people get away with this?
As a final note – no bags? Why should people fumble with dry sandwiches, an $8 rum ball and orange coleslaw while finding their car keys. I’m not asking for the world here, just to get edible food and a bag. This was shamefully bad.

I order a German chocolate cake and it was absolutely Delicious. It was fresh with just the right amount of sweetness. We enjoyed it very much, and will definitely order again. Highly recommend !!

The BEST pastries around! Always well worth the drive! Definitely recommend the Napoleans, Chocolate Eclairs, Canolis, and bakery cookies. They have many other items to offer (not just desserts!) too including made-to-order sandwiches, pasta salads, and more! You’re missing out if you don’t stop here!

I had never went to this place and it didn’t make a good first impression. Went to go in for breakfast bagels with my family. In my opinion the bagels took too long and weren’t even hot. My dad got a cream cheese bagel and the cream cheese was not even spread out- just a mound of it in the middle. We were trying to get in and out, and it took way too long for sandwiches that weren’t made well. In addition, the sandwiches weren’t wrapped correctly. I understand that running a business can be challenging, but I think they should step up their game in breakfast sandwiches.
