We just catered 19 trays of quarter chickens with two sides each for our team at work and the food was EXCELLENT! Everything was hot, fresh and made on time. We all loved it and will absolutely be back. Definitely best pollo a la brasa in leesburg.

Food is always on point, not your usual tin reheated food that you find at most places now days.
Service is always great, been going to La Chocita for about 15 yrs, the service is always top notch.
Atmosphere is not the Ritz but i rather have great food and service over a fancy palace.

I was in the area and really wanted GST (Gas Station Thai = Thai Pan in Leesburg), but couldn’t find a place to park. Then while driving around that gas station looking for a spot to park, I smelled some amazing Pollo a La Brassa and saw La Chocita behind the gas station. That smelled drew me in!
The folks inside were friendly and sat me promptly. I ordered a quarter chicken and she immediately told me she didn’t have any chicken today (I think she meant not ready yet). I said I smelled it and that’s why I came in, so she said to wait and went in the back. She came back and said she had chicken, so I assumed the fresh, amazing smelling chicken I came in for that was being cooked was ready. Well, what I got was yesterday’s chicken which seemed to be re-heated. It was dry and flavorless… very boring. No spices to be seen or tasted – So very disappointing!
The beans that came with it were decent… not a lot of flavor, but great texture and still good. The salad was fresh, their “dressing” was the typical mayo-based sauce and it was ok.
Overall – Nothing at all exciting about this visit… I left disappointed.

Very disappointed. The photos looked promising, but the quality and taste were below average. The refried beans had a strange flavor that was hard to place—not enjoyable at all. My plate was also extremely liquidy, which affected the texture and presentation. The chicken was bland and lacked seasoning or any standout taste. Nothing about it felt authentic or well-prepared. The sauces were underwhelming and didn’t add anything special to the dishes. Overall, it felt like a missed opportunity for what could’ve been a flavorful Latino meal. Again, very disappointed. And overpriced for what it’s worth.

Best Peruvian chicken around! The whole chicken comes with two sides, and their yucca is excellent. The chicken was seasoned perfectly, and the plantains were delicious as well. My only wish is that they hadn’t changed their yellow sauce — I preferred the old version. Still, overall a fantastic spot for flavorful Peruvian food.

I was craving some Peruvian chicken and stumbled on this place. My friend recommended it and since I was in Leesburg, I thought I’d give it a try.
The parking lot needs some work, it’s not paved. Apparently this place has been in business for over 20 years, they could improve in this area.
You start with complimentary chips and salsa. This wasn’t bad. I started off with horchata, very good. I had half a chicken all dark meat with yucca and rice. The chicken was pretty good. Flavorful, juicy, tender. The yucca was the perfect texture, crispy exterior, soft interior. The rice was okay. The sauce both white and green could use some work. I’ll say, their sauce doesn’t come close to super chickens sauce.
We dined in. The place was clean. The server was nice. They checked on us multiple times throughout the meal.
They have a extensive menu. I’ll definitely come back to try out the other items.

Henry’s energy was absolutely contagious from the moment he greeted us. He brought a warmth and enthusiasm that instantly made the atmosphere feel vibrant and welcoming. It wasn’t just about great service—Henry’s presence truly elevated the entire dining experience. His genuine smile, friendly conversation, and attention to detail made us feel like honored guests. Somehow, his positive spirit even made the food taste better, as if every bite was infused with the joy he brought to the table. Dining here was already a treat, but with Henry around, it became unforgettable. I can’t wait to return, and I sincerely hope he’s there when I do!

Is a really good place to come with family, The atmosphere is cozy and very clean. The only problem would be the parking, but it doesn’t affect what the place offers. 100% recommended.
