Real authentic Mexican food, not Tex-Mex like most places here. This is the real deal! The flavours are so rich and deep, and absolutely satisfying. The staff are so kind and the service is very fast and good, they care alot about their food and making it how you like it. This is just like I remember the food in Oaxaca, MX. Bloomington has no idea what a little gem this place is! You are missing out for haven’t tried it yet. It’s all home-made, so fresh, and made with love. We had the Tacos Birria and it was perfection. This is our new favourite place and we can’t wait to go back.

First time here. Bought the four barria tacos, a jalapeño/cheese tamale, and the chorizo/egg/cheese burrito. Everything was absolutely delicious! The barria was truly amazing, my husband couldn’t stop eating the jalapeño and cheese tamale, and the burrito was huge!! We will definitely be back! Just the right amount of spice!

Carne Asada Tacos and Carne Asada Burritos were pretty good we have to say! They come loaded with all the good stuff! Highly recommend! Coming from So Cal our family’s taste buds were definitely satisfied. It’s in the Shell gas station, so don’t be hesitant it’s very good! Will be back! The red salsa is delicious!

I’ve heard a lot of people rant and rave about Taco Shell. So I finallyyyyyy went… but I waited too long. Ownership changed hands and they’re now exploiting and riding off the success of the previous ownership. I wish I would have done some research before I went here.
3 small birria tacos with NO consumme, NO rice or beans, and NO place to sit. My son got the ramen. Literally cheap ramen in consumme. I took some of his consumme to dip my tacos in. We spent $35 (+$4 and change for our fountain drinks from the connected gas station). It was admittedly decent birria for a gas station, but these prices are something I would expect of a full-service sit-down restaurant. And a nice one at that.
To top it off… I know it’s not the same business, but you can’t really avoid interacting with the gas station lady when you walk in the door… She stared us down the entire time we were there. We got fountain drinks from the connected gas station while we waited for our food. My son (who is EIGHT) got root beer that he let foam over a little bit and the lady that tends to the gas station rushed over like it was a crisis. I’m talking two droplets of root beer on the counter. My son looked mortified. I was by his side monitoring the situation the entire time. Her presence was not needed. A single napkin would have taken care of it, but I didn’t see any… so I figured since she’s over here acting like we ruined her day, I could ask her if she had one and she very rudely said “NO!” Ok. Well. That’s a silly expense to forego. Good luck then.
Between the prices and that woman harping at my child, I’ll never step foot in that building again.

Just because this place is inside of a gas station, it doesn’t mean it’s not good. Everything I’ve ordered here is always really flavorful and delicious. They have a big menu and reasonable prices. Service has been great every time that I stop in. I always take my food to go but there’s seating on the other side if you want to enjoy your food asap. I’m very pleased to have a place like this in Ellettsville!

It’s good but kinda pricey for what you get. $15 for 4 tacos, takeout. They used to give two portions of salsa with an order of tacos, now only one, while raising prices. I can go to sit down Mexican restaurant for less, and get chips and salsa included.
