I’ve been here maybe 30+ times and it is consistently amazing. I think Hot Birds beats a lot of the Nashville hot chicken places. Every piece of the meal is top notch. The habanero level is delicious, spicy yet flavorful. The chicken is sooo juicy. The coleslaw and pickles are also a highlight and often I get 12 oz servings of each just because of how good they are. The buns are also really good. The fries are also somehow the best I’ve ever had.
This place knows that every part of the chicken sandwich is important and needs to be high quality. And having been there so many times over a year or two, I can tell you that it hits every single time!

Hot Birds is probably one of the best places to get hot chicken in Knoxville! I got the hot chicken sandwich, which was good! biggest critique would be is it is made of two chicken tenders instead of a flattened cutlet, but flavor was great. I ordered the Very Spicy level and it had a good heat, especially being mellowed out by the coleslaw and bread. The fries though… TOP NOTCH! some of the best fries I’ve had in all of knoxville so far. Definitely worth giving Hot Birds in Marble City Market a shot!

Amazing food, truly exceptional service. We got to sample the sauces and then enjoy a meal. The service went way way way above and beyond. They even custom made fried pickles. We had the tenders in habanero and mild. The fries were fried perfectly on the outside and still great steak potato on the inside. The banana bread and pudding was next level with seasoned biscoff cookies and chunks of banana layered throughout.

Saw these people on a TikTok video raving about how good the food was, and we thought we would give it a try! The food was not nearly as good as it looked. We got our tenders “spicy” and they certainly were hot . ( I have eaten lots of spicy food and these were maybe the hottest tenders I have tried). The chicken is billed as Nashville hot and it is not anything close to that other than being spicy. The kitchen just shakes spices on fired wings or tenders which is not close a Nashville hot preparation . The fries were crispy and the best part of the meal. Overall the food was very mid. It is a shame to pay $34 for 2 meals and the food be mediocre. I have no reason to go back to Hot Birds now that my curiosity was satisfied unlike me after this meal. ☹️

We were visiting Knoxville for the week, and this was one of the few 100% halal options. The food definitely exceeded our expectations! The chicken wings were very juicy, and the loaded fries were amazing. The only thing was the spice level, we ordered mild, but it was definitely much spicier than expected. It was still tasted amazing, but if you can’t handle spice, I would recommend ordering it with no spice. Other than that, the workers were very hospitable and the atmosphere was very nice! We would definitely come back here again!

Ordered this for valentines , big hot chicken lovers! First time trying this restaurant, ABSOLUTELY AMAZING SOOOO DELICIOUS!!!! I can make bomb hot chicken but mannnn for a restaurant it was the best!!!! Will definitely be our spot now! Chicken had sooo much flavor! Mac n cheese was soooo freaking good!! Prices are great especially for the amount of food you get!!

Wow – this chicken is amazing! I got the mild tenders and the signature spice blend is just incredible. The chicken itself was extra fresh and juicy. Also, possibly the best cole slaw I have ever had. The hot chicken sandwich my friend got was really delicious, too – nice level of heat, while still tasting all the flavors.

They are hands down the best chicken sandwich place that you have to experience if you are visiting around Knoxville.
