We popped in after our gym workout for a nice soothing lunch!
We have been here several times but it has been awhile so we were glad to go back because we forgot how good it is!
THE DEAL:
Sit down service and you can basically pick your table.
FOOD & DRINKS:
We shared a nice piping hot pot of tea which is perfect for warming the winter soul and started off with some crispy eggrolls. They were hot, crispy, and delish served with lettuce, carrots, and daikon radish and of course, a sweet-and-sour dipping sauce.
Hubs got the wonton soup, which was a full-size bowl like a pho, and it was incredibly delicious. The broth had so much depth and flavor and the pork was just tender as can be and the shrimp was perfectly cooked too and it was served with a side pho like accoutrements.
I got the Buddha’s Delight which is sautéed veggies and tofu and it was served with a side of white rice. The veggies were beautifully cooked al dente, the tofu was superb and the flavor of the sauce was delish!
AMBIANCE:
The restaurant decor is like going back in time with old laminate table tops and an almost cafeteria like feel but comfortable.
We did have an annoying diner right behind us who was by himself and had his phone on speaker and was listening and watching videos as loud as could be and PSA people do that on your own time not on others lol!!!
SERVICE:
The service was superb and our server was zen the entire time. Thank you for your lovely demeanor!
Excellent meal and excellent experience and we will be back

The food was good and they also had sauces and chilies at each table you could add. The place wasn’t ideal sanitation and cross contamination safety. The utensils are just open air at each table where people can just touch them. Open sauce bottles were on one table and they take their time cleaning up tables after customers leave. To go containers were just sitting on a table in the open as well. The bathroom probably hasn’t been deep cleaned. The light switch and walls were dirty and you can see the buildup of grime. The lady working was polite and just left us our space. They do have vegetarian items.

I ordered pho dac biet but it doesn’t include all the meat and beef of the pho day biet and the broth flavor is like they have used the powder to make the broth. I was desperate to eat here since most place closed early on christmas.

Good Pho is hard to find! This gem is great! I can not speak about the rest of the menu because we always just order Pho. The broth is not watered down and flavorless like some other pho places, the broth is amazingly flavorful and aromatic. My only recommendation is get a large otherwise you’ll be mad at yourself and you’ll want more when you are done with your small!

Absolutely amazing pho! 10/10. My family has been coming here for 21+ years. I’m a third generation customer coming here. This is my grandpas favorite pho, my father’s favorite pho and now my favorite pho. The beef quality is super high. Thick cuts of premium brisket unlike other places that use more cheap thin cuts of lean beef. I highly recommend the veggie egg roll, quail, pho and banh mi. Been a staple Vietnamese restaurant for my entire life. No joke. If you’re ever in the area please visit ASAP! Come support this local small family oriented restaurant. Lom is the best! He’s always gave the best customer service and food recommendations! A true professional at his craft.

This Vietnamese restaurant was a short hop and skip from the hotel we stayed at as we explored DC’s cherry blossom season. I’m glad we tried this establishment. We got here later than we hoped for as we got stuck in traffic getting out of DC. Our wait was worth it.
Pho was very good–very good broth. The top round was OK–I had it better in the past. Service was prompt and courteous. Though it was Sunday evening, it was very quiet except for a couple of take-out orders coming in. We were the only customers at around 8:30, and we enjoyed our private dining experience. The friendly chef came out of the kitchen a couple of times and chatted with us and checked on us.

I’ve been coming to this place for many years, as it’s such a convenient location, just before you hit the freeway. The food is reasonably priced, and decent, nothing I can say, oh wow, but it definitely hits the spot.
Upon my last visit, I had ordered the Bun Bo Hue, and they didn’t give me all the ingredients in the soup, like the blood cake and pork hock, when I asked as to why they were missing, the waitress said, “we didn’t think you would eat it…” Don’t assume what I eat, just by the way I look, that made me uncomfortable.
The restaurant can use a little cleaning and organizing, restocking of condiments, boxes and papers, are usually part of the decor, along with a few cobb webs. Also the table I sat on this time had a wobble.

Hands down the best, most consistent bun we have. We have eaten at over a dozen Vietnamese places and this place has the most flavorful, least dry meat and knocks the other restaurants out of the park.

Folks this is Northern Virginia. NORTHERN VIRGINIA, home to some of the best Vietnamese restaurants in the US. This ain’t one of ’em. Do yourself a favor, STOP, leave and exit the parking lot. Trust me. Place is simply unclean. I mean even the low hanging fruit like glass doors and windows. Even the parking lot and exterior of the building is unkempt. But the food is the giveaway. They tried to serve basic pork/shrimp soup with ICEBERG LETTUCE cut up along with the sprouts, not basil or the other typical veggies. The “pork” was like a cold cut found in a banh mi. Pathetic. Even in the IMMEDIATE neighborhood, there are WAY better restaurants. No. Please, no. Never again.
