This Subway located in Topsham, Maine is horrible. When we first walked in it seemed okay. We ordered our food like normal. We both ordered sandwiches with the rotisserie chicken on it. We sat down and we started eating our food. It tasted a little different but we still ate more of our food. We didn’t finish all of it. An hour or so later, we both had some digestive issues. We do not recommend this location. We will never return to this location.

I was getting a pick up order at the subway store in Topsham right next to the station but I didn’t know I would encounter a Karen inside I was very nice and friendly because of holiday and you guys know, It is a Christmas vibe and energy around, we should be happy and thankful, greatful for this wonderful holiday cause also this beautiful country provides us with such a safe and peaceful holiday. Anyway and than I said “hi” and she didn’t say anything and I was like “oh maybe she didn’t hear me” and I tried to nicely and kindly told her that “ I am picking the order up” and very surprisingly, she just gave me a very very very bad look and attitude on her face. I was shocked I was like how come people can be very uneducated in this great and best country in the all over the word.( I’m really curious about this) anyway there are lots of opportunities to improve your skills Miss Karen but lemme tell you something honey you don’t have to work if you don’t want to, you are an adult lady!!! ma’am you have must learned manners just friendly reminder but don’t worry about that cause it is never too late for anything.
WHAT SHE DID IS UNFORGIVABLE AND UNACCEPTABLE.
Note for manager: 21 December 2025 I was there around 7pmish please check the schedule and talk to her. Well only if you care about your business and work. But I will never and ever again shop in that SUBWAY TOPHSAM store me and my husband never will be there never ever again.

My husband and I went to get a sandwich at subway in topsham Maine . It was the worse customer service I ever had I felt like we were inconveniencing the person that was working don’t know her name no name tag I ordered a sweet onion chicken teriyaki and my husband had a BLT AND SHE DIDNT EVEN WARM UP MY CHICKEN AND MY HUSBAND HAD TO ASK TO WARM UP THE BACON. I worked in customer service for 25 years It was the worse service I ever had the sandwich sucked. I will not be going back there ever again

Was greeted tonight in a rude tone with this “it’s going to be awhile, I’ve got door dashes and their next and I’m alone!” That was it, so we simply left. Not how you should greet customers whether you’re alone, frustrated or not.

It was the worst experience I’ve ever had at Subway. There was only 1 guy making sandwiches. I told him what kind of bread I wanted and 5 minutes later he asked me again. We asked for a double neat on a steak n cheese, and it looked like triple. The lady working was not helpful. She was too worried about putting away the truck load and complaining about a coworker. He then started complaining about her. Then, to top it off, they had no pickles. I asked why, and she stated she hadn’t found them yet. So, almost 25 minutes later, we finally were done. Very ridiculous poor customer service and the guy shouldn’t have been by himself.

Young girl pretty quiet, last night when I went in to pick up my online order was working. I called to try and acknowledge her to her manager but no answer to the phone. She may be quiet but that girl can make a good sandwich. I made a point to call just because it’s been so long since I’ve ordered online to subway and they’ve made me a satisfactory sandwich that was correct to what I ordered. It seems there’s always something missing but this young lady did a great job and I’ll definitely go out of my way to order at this location because of it.

We visited this Subway location in the afternoon when it wasn’t crowded. My husband and I placed our sandwich orders, but unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. From the moment we walked in, the young woman behind the counter was visibly rude and dismissive, as if she were doing us a favor by making the sandwiches.
At the billing counter, she mixed up my vegetarian sub with someone else’s chicken sandwich. We even asked her to confirm which one was the vegetarian option, but she didn’t respond. When another staff member asked her again, she bluntly said, “I don’t know.” It is absolutely her responsibility to know what she is handing to the customer.
I realized I had been given meat only after taking the first bite. This was especially upsetting because my dietary preference is based on religious beliefs. Despite the seriousness of the mistake, the staff was unapologetic. Initially, they acted as if they didn’t understand, and only later offered a refund without a sincere apology.
Mistakes can happen, but what was most disappointing was the complete lack of courtesy and accountability. In a customer-facing role, being respectful and attentive should be the bare minimum.

It took 30 minutes to put together one untoasted steak and cheese sandwich (despite my friend asking for it to be toasted). Also, when asked if he wanted anything extra on the sandwich, my friend told the employee that he wanted black olives. The employee pointed to an empty tin and said in a very bored voice that they didn’t have any immediately, not even bothering to check the back stock. My friend also bought a novelty cup with this meal and was asked which one he wanted. When he responded, the employee giving him the cup rolled their eyes and mentioned that there were only three left as if he was not paying for this product, even trying to guilt my friend into not purchasing it by saying that their manager would “get mad at [them]” since there were so little left. Again, my friend PAID for this cup. On multiple occasions, they rolled their eyes and asked him to repeat himself for very simple things that had been stated clearly. Overall, the lack of care could not be more clear, and the experience was so frustrating to even bear witness to.

Clean restaurant and typical subway food but horrible service. Twice in a row now, when I walk in and I have to wait and be ignored by the employees for minutes (solid 3-4 minutes) because they’re in the middle of talking and don’t care I’m staring at them waiting to be served. Then the young lady come out front and started CLEANING instead of acknowledging my presence. I never would treat my customers like this at my work. When you walk in, you’re my priority. Will be going to another location from now on.

Visit here often on my way to work to grab my supper most of the staff are very friendly I absolutely enjoy when Amanda is working which she usually is, she makes us feel like we are welcomed,very efficient,sandwich is always amazing and so Is her attitude LAUGHING AND JOKING WITH CUSTOMERS. I think she deserves a raise and if that’s not an option atleast want the owner and managers to know that she’s doing amazing job thank you for excellent service clean restaurant! Will continue to visit this subway!!
