I love Firehouse and when you spend $70.00 for 4 subs and the meal combo’s included you would think that the drink selection from past visits to other Firehouse subs you would have the tea and sweet tea up and running! Thats one of your signatures. Half of the soda and non carbonated drinks were out of stock or the syrup for the sprite was flat!!! Really!! I should get a discount since half of the drinks selection is crap!!! I’m sorry but that’s unacceptable. If you are not going to supply the selection then either don’t charge us or drop the price!!!!

Love this location, the staff here is always so friendly and the subs are consistent. Usually get the hook and ladder. Can’t add your own sauces due to covid but can still get some in packets if you ask! Clean space, quick service.

After I’ve read all the other lame one or two star reviews, that’s petty stuff to be complaining about. I’ve went there a few times craving for subs and they were closed on a day that weren’t supposed to be, but who cares, there are other days to go there. And so what someone waits a few minutes in line for their subs, maybe the online order was there before that person was. Stop giving this restaurant bad reviews when there a good restaurant! Suck it up people!! Have shalom not war….

Came to Des Moines to a show. Ordered Firehouse on our way in, arrived and it was almost done! The staff was very friendly. Enjoyed the visit!!!

We typically go to this location and never have issues. Wanted to stop after getting off work, there were still people in the dining room with 15 minutes until they closed (we just wanted to order our subs and go home to eat) but as we were walking up they locked the door at 8:45 when they closed at 9. Kinds bs that they’re supposed to keep doors open during business hours but whatever I guess.
