We came here for a work Xmas party and it was perfect! Super casual feeling and all the yard games and swings, but indoors out of the elements! You can bring your own games or use theirs. They’ve got pool, days, cornhole, darts, skeeball, arcade games, and more we didn’t even touch. They’ve not a great selection of beer, wine, and cocktails! We didn’t try their food, but we’ll definitely be back! Great bartender service!

What a fun space! TVs and games for free with a fun national park theme. I really appreciated that there was a 3pm call for 21+ only, where they reconfigured the turf area from a lawn chair hang to bags/cornhole and lawn bowling. The sandwiches were accommodating by having gluten free buns. Since the Commons is connected to Cinderblock, they had cider, seltzers and other GF options.

You know when something associated with Cinder Block Brewery is popping up – it’s going to be good. The Commons has a super fun and different vibe. It is great for a date night, out with friends or even the family during the day. They’ve got all the yard games you know and love, mixed with the classic table top games. The drink selection is wide with all beloved KC staples and their own yummy house brews. The ” Freaky Tiki” aka Mt. Tiki was super delicious.
Also, having Bay Boy Sandwiches in house is just the cherry on top. Highly recommend a visit and so excited to have a place like this in NKC.

Had a couple premade cocktails and played some games with friends. The staff was SUPER helpful and answered lots of drink questions for the group. Can’t stress enough how great the staff was on Saturday night. The atmosphere is fantastic and fun. Lots of games to play to make the hangout easy and relaxed.

Came here for the first tims with a friend. We came on a Sunday afternoon. It was not very busy, which i like. I ordered an old fashion from the bar near the corn hole. The drink was perfect and filled to the brim! It was quick service, which again it was not very busy. There were a lot of seating options (the bar, high tops, swings and some chairs in a corner). Food is a bit limited. There’s a sandwich place inside and apparently according to the website you can order from a BBQ place and have it delivered to your table here or bring in food from some of the surrounding restaurants.

We loved our time here and will come back soon! Bay Boy had some of our favorite sandwiches in kc, so we were happy to see them in the northland! The commons pale ale and lager were awesome beers! They weren’t too heavy and were great for a chill afternoon.
There is a big open space that you can use lawn chairs and tables on and have a more relaxing time with a group of friends. We brought our 2 month old with us and felt extremely welcomed by staff.

I don’t think I’ve experienced anything quite as cool as the commons. It’s like hanging out on the lawn with friends… great food, cold beer, fantastic games… and it’s always perfect weather!

This place is so fun!!! We enjoyed amazing beers & cocktails while playing a bunch of fun games. It’s a great place to hang out. The chair swings are the bomb & the Vista Pobloma cocktail rocks! We will for sure be back!
