What really made the experience special was the exceptional staff. They were incredibly friendly and greeted everyone with a warm welcome. They were attentive and always ready to help with anything we needed, making the entire meal a truly great experience. I highly recommend Mango’s for a fantastic breakfast or brunch.
Fantastic smoked salmon avocado toast. The pickled onions added a pleasant sweetness to counter the capers and shallots. The portion is large.
The menu is varied and definitely entices me to come back and try more dishes. I am eyeing the German Crepe.
I will be back and highly recommend this restaurant.
Update:
I went back this morning and tried the German Crepes. Wow! They were delicious. Super sweet with a nice lemon tang. Huge portion. The service was excellent again.
So I decided ro order Mangos a couple of different times but today tired the scale!
I ordered my food 10 minutes before arriving to work today and it arrived 10 minutes so cook and delivery time was at the speed of Flash!
I wanted to get a before image of my meal, but my tummy and pallet got the best of me. Everything was very flavorful and HOT!
The portion was beyond exceptional, truly enought to feed too but I had my big man appetite today.
If you are in the Southlake area and looking for a great breakfast spot, you GOTTA check this place out.
The atmosphere is light and fun, and the menu had lots to choose from. I wasn’t very hungry, so I got the Mango’s House Salad— chicken, mango, strawberries, and spinach. I asked if it came with its own dressing and our waitress, who was very kind, told me what kind of dressing they had. The only one that seemed like it might work was balsamic, so I got that on the side. It wasn’t great. My friend asked if they had a berry dressing or something. And our waitress brought what looked like a strawberry dressing. I used that, but it was pretty tart. The mango was not very ripe, so I only ate about 3 or 4 pieces. The strawberries were great and the chicken was delicious. There was a lot of spinach, so I didn’t eat much. I ended up eating about half the salad, as it was a very good sized portion, especially for $15. The salad was beautiful and the chicken was good, but I’m not sure I’d order it again with the unripe fruit and not a great dressing option.
I will definitely go to Mango’s again if I’m in the area. I make my own spinach salad at home (with strawberries, blueberries, feta, and lemon poppyseed dressing), so next time, I’ll likely try the salmon eggs Benedict.
Overall, we really liked the restaurant, but my salad was a bit disappointing. But the service was good, the menu had lots of variety, and it was a great place to sit and chat to catch up with my friend. Give it a try!
I enjoyed the Baja Chicken Omlette.
The pancakes had a nice flavor to them. They were moist and buttery.
My Mimosa was delicious.
I would definitely go back again. Check out Mango’s the next time that you are in Southlake.
Jordan our server was very kind and on it with refills and making sure we were good. Will return again and again when visiting the DFW area. My wife got the 2x2x2 and was a lot of food also. The fresh squeezed OJ is very very good.
