Il Capuccino is a beautiful restaurant located in Sag Harbor on a quaint street that literally brings you back in time. Before entering, you see a couple of tables for outdoor dining which is a nice touch on a summers evening.

As you enter, you get this old world tavern feel with wood planks on the ceiling, a beautiful beast where you can sit for a drink and food if you choose and then multiple rooms with tables. We sat at a table in the bar.

For starters, they bring you a basket full of these most sliding garlic knots!!!! I could do some damage with that for sure! Kerry out waitress have is some great suggestions before ordering.

I ordered the baked stuffed clams which were delicious and overstuffed. I could have used a little more juice on top of the clams. I was surprised that they were served in tinfoil clam shells…. But that didn’t stop me from enjoying them. We also ordered the spinach salad which was a nice place of fresh greens with a warm bacon dressing and mushrooms.

For dinner, I ordered the seafood pasta (Frutti di Mar) which was delicious however in being honest, it could’ve used more pasta. Basically I got 4 fork twirls . A little more pasta would’ve been very impressive. The calamari, shrimps mussels and clams were delicious as well. We also ordered the linguine carbonara which was creamy and delicious with that nice smoke flavor from the pancetta. My wife enjoyed the fettuccini Alfredo.

All in all, everything was delicious. Kerry took great care of us and it was an enjoyable evening. I’ll be back!!!!

You will never be sad to spend an evening here. The best garlic knots, made with flavor full fresh garlic. And the cheese filled pistachio ravioli is a must ♥️

The atmosphere is cute but the food was sub par. Nothing had much flavor and the surf and turf special was not good at all. We left half the shrimp as after a few bites thought it might actually be bad. I wasn’t aware of the shrimp at the time as someone else in my party ordered it and didn’t mention it until we got home or I would have told someone. Mussel appetizer was not great, some were cold and some were hot. Calamari was good. Overall underwhelming.

Wandered in here on a Tuesday night and fell head over heels in love with it. Food, service, atmosphere were all 10/10. We were able to walk right in and get a table a little before 7pm. Keep in mind this was in the Spring, so still off season.

The table side garlic knots were some of the best I ever had. Slightly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, slathered in minced garlic and butter. Save some to dip in the pasta sauces!

We had the tortelloni al pistachio and one of the special pastas that evening – angel hair with vodka sauce and burrata. Both were outstanding but if I had to choose a favorite, I’d go with the tortelloni. So rich in flavor and cooked to perfection. It felt so cozy on a spring night and was so satisfying. We also got a side of broccoli which was also great.

We enjoyed gelato to top it all off and was a refreshing and delicious ending to the meal.

Service was excellent. I always enjoy going to a family owned restaurant – just feels a little more like home :).

Thank you for welcoming us and facilitating a fabulous evening!

Casual spot in Sag Harbor. I got mussels and stuffed clams which were pretty good but be prepared for a lot of garlic. I got also veal parmigiana which was good but very basic. It is officially an Italian place but I don’t recommend the pastas here they just taste very very basic and not good in my opinion.

When you sit down they give you homemade garlic bread that is really hard to stop eating but watch out it’s very oily.

Overall not a bad experience here. A good option if you want to eat something casual and relatively less expensive than other places in Sag Harbor.

Delicious food! My husband enjoyed the Salmon salad and he is very picky. My seafood was delicious and I got enough portions of the shrimp, clams, and mussels. The prices are good for their portion sizes. Jack our waiter was amazing! He was very attentive and kind. Would definitely go again.

We had a quick meal at the bar during the film festival. Our waiter was efficient and super nice. Garlic bread/balls were fantastic. Very reasonable for Sag Harbor too!
