A must try Vietnamese restaurant in the area! Lovely place owned by very kind people. We were looking for interesting selections of Vietnamese food that is not just Pho, and the food we had here went above and beyond our expectations. Crab fried rice was surprisingly good and the goat curry came in a big pot with a candle warmer, and kept the nice warm coconut curry flavour for longer. I was never a fan of goat curry before this, but if every goat curry is cooked this way, I will be able to eat. Wish I have taken more pictures. All the drinks and plates were nicely presented and overall it was nice and pleasant experience. Will definitely visit again.

My first time here and I loved it. Was craving something soupy so I ordered the bun bo hue & my cousin swears by these chicken wings so of course we had to order them. Also really appreciate them for accommodating to our meal adjustments, thanks!

Everything was lacking on our night out. The place wasn’t busy but there wasn’t any service around. Portion size and taste was not worth it. Everything seems like it was just thrown in together with some flavorings. The wings were crispy and moist but nothing “signature” about it. Pomelo salad was nice and refreshing.

Walked-in around 6pm and got a table for two. We ordered Grill & chill platter (Thịt nướng xiên met) $25 and Duck Noodle Soup With Bamboo Shoots (bun mang vit) $19.50 Server asked if we wanted the sprout beans served cooked. Food was tasty and portion was reasonable. Would come again and try other dishes.

I’ve been to this restaurant too many times, and I really love the food here. The pork cheow and prawn cakes are the new items here and I highly recommend them. The servers are all nice and have good service. My favorite one is deep-fried squid and goat curry, both of which are too good!!!

We came here for the Bánh Canh Cua, but unfortunately, it wasn’t available that day. So we decided to try the recommended crab fried rice, and it was awesome! I loved the smoky aroma and flavor — the portion was quite generous for one person, so we even took some home. The staff were friendly, and the ambience was cozy and welcoming.

Duck noodle soup was lacking. The duck meat was tough and was little against the bone and tendon. Very clear broth. Would have been good if it had more flavour. The pineapple fried rice was good but unexpectedly spicy so not a good choice for my kid. Otherwise the marinated chicken was tasty with the rice. Overall, I understand the concept but it’s hard to pay for these prices and come back when there’s great Vietnamese places nearby that have better noodle soups at a better price. I can forgo the fancy decor.

I’ve been wanting to come here for a while because i pass it all the time en route to other restaurants in the Kingsway and surrounding area. I chose it over other places for the rating (4.5 – not bad btw) but didnt find it to be a 4 or 5 star expierience. The first 2 items i chose i was either talked out of/were unavailable. I had to choose three different times after a long day of snap-decisions recording in the studio.
The food here is good but odd as it is basic. Some weird choices. My salad roll had a liqourice-ish taste to it (not bad just *weird*) and the hoison sauce was really salty. I decided on the Chicken Vermicelli Bún and it missed the mark. Only the noodles were good (they were great! Could tell they were made fresh and came very hot !) But sadly, so many other componants here like the chicken werent good or even overcooked.
A note on the service: i appreciated the effort but it seemed like the staff were more engaged with talking on the phone than being present or attentive (i tried to get her attention for over 10mins). Also, the lack of wifi really killed it for me… was trying to be understanding to a point but getting home on the bus took another 20mins longer than calling an Uber

The food and service was great . I love the pomelo salad the most, everything is so fresh. I usually don’t order rice in the restaurant because I am not a rice person, but the crab rice must try. We ordered 2 haha. We also ordered 2 of the deep fried squids

Hai Chi Em delivered on flavor! The crab fried rice and stir-fried glass noodles with crab meat were both excellent—truly delicious. Service was great too.
The “vibe,” however, is undeniably traditional Vietnamese. While charming, it might not hit the mark for younger diners expecting something more modern. And fair warning: while the food is good, it’s also a bit overpriced. Come for the delicious crab, just be ready for the bill and the old-school ambiance!
