We just had a girls night and everything was amazing! The food was great, Teresa helped us with the menu, was not only patient but kind to our lack of knowledge and made suggestions and was super funny! She was the sweetest, the mushroom risotto was amazing. Would def book another reservation!I love how intimate the vibe was, wasn’t loud and we had a great time!

This is a hidden gem. The food, service and vibe are on point. The Escargot and French Onion soup were the best I ever had. Save room for the bread pudding it was the perfect way to end the meal. Theresa made our experience memorable!!!

The service and atmosphere are great. It’s in the older section of town but it has character. The food was plated and presented beautifully. I marked it down because everything needed more salt or acid. The beef was so tender but needed a pinch of salt or something to bring the flavors through. The Brussels sprouts needed some acid to elevate them.

Waitress was phenomenal. Very knowledgeable about the dishes. Fast service like unbelievable fast service it’s insane how fast the food was brought out. The food is light and decadent, as well as the drinks. The music is an absolute vibe. The atmosphere is very chic and relaxed. Phenomenal just out of this world food, service, little hole in the wall slice of heaven. We will make this our regular place now 100% French onion was delicious and not too hot. The shrimp tostada’s were very light. The food overall is light aside from the pasta dishes. Escargot were so soft and delicious. I have never had such tender escargot before. Everything was absolute perfection. I’m not a fruity dessert person, but the bourbon apple bread pudding with ice cream had me. Very generous dessert size and absolutely delicious.

I’ve known the owner, Francois, since 2013 when he ran a restaurant in Olmos park called Tribeca. Our whole family followed when he relocated and opened Julia’s with the same great vibes. This man knows how to make a restaurant. Julia’s is not overly stuffy but quite nice. It suits a variety of diners while keeping a classy atmosphere. Price point is 15-30 a plate depending upon what you order. Each item is WELL worth the price with outstanding quality and filling portions. Happy hour is an amazing time. Specialty house cocktails and wines super cheap with grilled cesear salad and fries at a discount. Sounds weird but it’s amazing. I’ve had everything…the lamb, the chicken, beef, pasta. Nothing has disappointed. The menu rotates seasonally, with some standards that never leave and usually a special or two. The desserts are house made from scratch (as far as I know) and also delicious. We have enjoyed Francois, his staff, and his restaurants for over a decade and have always felt our money and time was very well spent. Thank you Julia’s for many happy memories!

Had a chance to wine and dine a vendor from New York and he chose Julia’s Bistro. He wanted to try the Short Rib Bourguignon. I had Southern Fried Chicken Piccata. The appetizers were incredible! The dessert was to die for!! Everything was fantastic!! The ambiance was amazing. Our server Theresa was phenomenal! I can’t say enough about our experience! Thank you for not making us feel rushed.

Julia’s is a such a great spot! It’s unique and has delicious food. The staff is always pleasant and the food is always a 10/10. I love that their menu changes from time to time as well to keep things interesting. They are one of the only places in town that has escargot and it is amazing!

Happy hour must have is the grilled Ceasar salad, nice char with a creamy tasty dressing. Escargot were delicious with baguette to sop up the sauce. Barbacoa bourguignon was perfect- velvety tender beef with a savory gravy. The chicken piisccata was tasty as well. Relaxed place – we had the best server – Lala, who pulled it all together to a meal not to be forgotten.
Another really lovely meal, the special -halibut orzo in putanesca sauce was just excellent. Grilled ceasar salad and escargot to start. My birthday boy had a surprise s’mores mousse – Lela was or server – she just brings joy to the table. A perfect night out
