Great food and great service. Adorable decor. Portions were generous. Drinks were yummy and strong. We had the bowls, guacamole, flautas, rice and beans, margaritas, and sangria. The white sangria was much better than red. We order from here all the time, but this was my first time dining in the restaurant. We will be back!

My family and I were looking for an authentic Mexican restaurant in our family member’s area and saw this on Google. We came in not knowing what to expect but we were not disappointed but rather impressed. The servers were all super welcoming and immediately made sure our group of 10 were seated. The price of the food, especially in NYC, was very reasonable. We ordered appetizers and actual entrees and brought out our food pretty quick which is always a plus! They even gave us dessert on the house. The vibes in here overall were very nice so I recommend trying this place out if you love good food and a calm ambiance.

We ordered chips and salsa to start… the salsa tasted pretty bland and uneventful.
I ordered a chicken enchilada which was disappointing. It came with rice and black beans which were probably from a can. My date had the vegetable bowl which was also disappointing. Half way through the meal, she asked me what I thought… I gave the overall experience a 5/10.
Also, the music is a bit too loud… hard to converse… and the drinks did not have much alcohol in them. No buzzz whatsoever… and we bought had frozen margaritas… Oh well…

Always called us the attention of the pink cool decoration on the way to the beach from Flatbush, but not many people there… possibly due to location or I dont know.
Finally we decided to stop and get in. Shocking surprise!
We have 2 little kids… the food, both menu and portions are very good, the staff, the music and the frozen Margaritas made our afternoon where we ended up dancing with our kids (4PM)
Such an amazing place. Just hoping they extend the happy hour after beach time in the summer ;).
100% recommended.

We went to Lola’s Mexican Restaurant for the 1st time this Sunday on a whim. It was better than I expected. We loved the look and feel of the place. It’s not huge, but there is adequate seeting, you can also sit outdoors.
We started off with Flautas with Chicken, which were great. The combo of crunch, salt, sauce and creaminess works well.
1of my sons ordered the Chicken Quesadilla, and he said it was the best he even had. My other son ordered a bowl with just Rice and ground beef. He is a picky eater, but he loved it. My wife and I ordered the Beef and Shrimp bowls also, they came topped with fresh Lettuce, tortilla chips, Pico de gallo, Guacamole, rice and black beans, which were pretty good. We weren’t even super hungry.I also ordered a Pińa Colada, which was pretty tasty, though a little small. The staff was pleasant and attentive. Overall, I am glad we finally broke the ice and gave Lola’s a try, we definitely have found a new local spot.

Well, what do I know.
It is odd to me, how easily the staff at Lola’s seems to get it; be nice, be friendly, act like you want to be there. To them, it seems effortless.
It was very busy when we arrived but we were attended to without delay. The service was perfect: attentive, but not over bearing. Margaritas are delicious, chips & guacamole are very fresh. As is the food, which is hot and flavorful. Could not be happier to have been so wrong.

Okay bartender! Hubby and I came in for some lunch and we got the shrimp bowl, chicken bowl, plantains and wings! Needless to say we were full and the wings were perfectly crunchy! The drinks! Passion fruit margarita and a regular margarita—- it was great, only thing is I should have asked for a sugar rim instead of salt!

Friendly staff and good food. Flautas were good but the shell was soft when it should be crispy/deep fried. Veggie bowl was good. I have to take away 1 star for the chicken tortilla soup that tasted like vegetable soup and not a very good one. Taco strips were soft and tasted more like pasta. On any to go order these items should go in a small cup on the side.
I really hope Lola’s is here to stay. Best of luck to you.
