This place was great. The bayou chicken sandwich was delicious. The roaster carrots are way better than you’d expect – amazing! Clean, great service, pleasant atmosphere, very polite staff. Glad I happened upon this place on my work trip. Highly recommend!

T.E. Alderman’s portrays themselves as a themed fancier restaurant between food names and the price. I expected some more fun and higher quality food. I got what is a basic chicken salad (4$ to add the 1/3 of a chicken breast), and as I did enjoy the bacon flavor on my croutons and chicken it worries me. No where on the menu is there any indication that the food is cooked in bacon grease. Making me worry about cross-contamination. Along with this, none of the employees wore a hair/beard net in the kitchen. (I did not find a hair in my food, just observed the through the open dinner window)
As for the decor, it does seem like they are trying to be fancy while cutting corners. Prints with no frames, paper napkins with abnormally large silverware, ceramic and metal dishes, and plexiglass stemmed glasses for soda.
The service was good, and the waitress remained on point throughout the night and polite. She didn’t visit too often or too little with the nearly empty restaurant.
It seemed like T.E. Alderman’s is still in the works for being a memberable restaurant. If they make the year, I will try them again. But at this current point, the price of food and an awkward mix of fancy and cutting corners just isn’t worth returning.

I tried T.E. Alderman’s for the first time today. The Smoke Show with the seasoned steak fries was just the right portion for a reasonable price. Very flavorful to the last bite! My server was very tentative and helpful with explaining the menu. I’ll be back to try more!

What a great stop!
I went awhile back but wanted to keep sharing.
Someone in our party had a gluten allergy. She has been here before and loved that the entire menu was catered for gluten free.
Street parking right outside and we walked in and was greeted warmly.
Main street almost hides this little gem.
The name of the restaurant illuminated on the floor. We grabbed a great seat and got a full run down of the menu and specials.
Table of 4 and we were treated like royalty.
The ambiance is warm here. The chef is an artist. They are super careful that all the foods don’t come into contact with gluten.
I have to say that if you walked in and ordered not knowing anything I mentioned above, you would never know that the entire menu is gluten free.
It was a brunch for us.
I was very excited with the menu options.
It was selective and well described.
My mom was super excited about the chocolate chip pancakes and the waitress talked up the cinnamon roll.
The Slap Jack meal was three chocolate chip pancakes. How can a pancake by fluffy and plump at the same time? You get the meat of your choice on top of that. I picked the sausage and it was full of flavor.
The other two at the table got The Early bird Shakedown. A very generous helping of hash browns, slow cooked brisket, cheese, white gravy, and eggs.
The brisket on breakfast is divine. I stole a few bites from the hubby and it was savory and melted in my mouth.
The waitress was friendly and attentive. Although it was a little quiet, people started feed in.
It’s a great restaurant and I hope it gets the traffic it deserves. We about rolled out of there full and happy.

We visited tonight for the first time. Had a fantastic tomato basil soup, chicken & noodles, whipped ricotta dip. The service was spot on and the building is beautifully restored.
Definitely check it out!

I went in to order. I chose, all they WERE OUT OF STOCK. SO I HAD TO LEAVE.THE PEICES WERE WAY OUT OF LINE. ESPECIALLY FOR nevada. Its not new york city! The prices are not affordable. The parking was bad.i had a toddler, was not offered a highchair. Had to wait over 10 min to get waited on, and we were the only ones there. I dont suggest anyone visit this overpriced rude staff to ..anyone ..except sister
She deserves that.

We had such a great experience! My friend & her daughter came from out of state to visit for my birthday. They are both allergic to wheat and her daughter has a total of 10 food allergies, one of them anaphylactic. They were more than accommodating. They checked and double checked ingredients and the chef/owner literally made her some specific au jus that she could eat. He made the French fries to order without the spices that she’s allergic too. He even brought out some extra fries for her to take home! Our appetizer- “hush money spuds” were so good we had them gobbled up in minutes! Highly recommend even if you are not gluten free! Everything was so delicious! Mac and cheese was like nothing I’ve ever eaten before. Totally worth the drive and even though I am not gluten free, I will definitely be back for their amazing food and service!! They also have gender neutral private bathrooms.

Went to eat here for the first time with my friend, was DELICIOUS. We had the roast and the steak sandwich plus beverages. Took home cheesecake for dessert! The service was wonderful and the restaurant was clean and inviting. Very good all around, will be returning!

Although the food tasted good, we were extremely disappointed that several food items were out of stock. My wife and I both have celiac disease so we were very excited to see a dedicated gluten free restaurant. We had a babysitter and drove 1hr 45min, one way, to enjoy this restaurant. When we arrived, an hour after opening, we were told they no longer had gluten free buns. So the one burger we traveled for, we were unable to get. We ordered it without a bun and ordered other food. They later came out and told us they were out of one of the sides we ordered. We also tried to order dessert and were told they were sold out of the cheesecake. The waiter also told us that they were closing early because they were out of food.
This is not the first time we have seen them having major entres bring out of stock. We pulled up the online menu today (and many times in the past) to make sure food was in stock before making the drive. We have had to postpone this trip multiple times due to food being out of stock. Today we saw everything was in stock so we made the drive.
We know that the drive we had to make, to visit this restaurant is not the restaurants fault, however it would be nice to actually have food available. We understand one thing being gone but to continue to have multiple items out of stock, is extremely frustrating.

Unfortunately I am insanely disappointed by this restaurant. I’ve been waiting forever to get the chance to come since I am celiac and I regret going. The restaurant is trying to come off as fancy but it isn’t. We were sat right next to the kitchen in the almost empty restaurant and the music in the kitchen was louder than the “jazz” playing in the restaurant. The cooks were playing games on their phones and burping as I was eating. The food is so insanely overpriced for what it is it’s not even funny. We got the $18 appetizer and it was soggy as it hit the table and covered in sauces to the point where it was disgusting. The $17 steak sandwiches were thin slices of unseasoned steak with tomato and lettuce on a gluten free bun that was worse than the gluten free buns I get at a normal restaurant. Tiny and flakey. Mac and cheese as a side was very grainy and had no cheesy flavor really. Service was below average. Our waiter asked us where we wanted to sit and we asked for the front since it was empty and not by the kitchen then she stared at us and took us to the back. Thought the meal I genuinely laughed because I was unfortunately so shocked and disappointed by every aspect. Don’t waste your time and money but I do appreciate the idea. Needs a lot of work.
