This place is AWESOME!! The beer/drink wall had several delicious choices, and it’s so cool to be able to try the selections before actually making your final choice. The food was amazing! We had the beer cheese soup, a mushroom burger, garlic Parmesan fries, and the brisket sliders . Everything was SO GOOD!! The staff was very friendly, the atmosphere is so cool, and Heather, the owner is awesome! I can’t wait to come back!! ❤️❤️❤️

Amazing vibe, delicious food, and a perfect place to relax and enjoy good company. The service was outstanding – ask for Marko! He’s incredibly friendly, attentive, and truly makes the experience even better. Highly recommend!

I had the opportunity to visit this place for a company holiday party. I was very pleased to see the wide variety of beers on tap, along with other drink options such as old fashions and martinis. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and they worked hard to ensure we were all having a good time at our holiday celebration.
There is a variety of board/card games for folks to play while enjoying their drink, and there was a nice spread of food set out for everyone. Plus, I LOVE the fact that this place partners with a local shelter for senior animals!

We just were here for the 80s trivia night. The Parched Pug has taken over the old Tacos El Norte location (which we loved and were bummed when they closed) and finally found or way here for a night of 80s trivia with friends.
I had heard mixed reviews on the food, so I was mentally prepared to have mediocre food. It’s kind of confusing how you go about ordering food and drink because:
1) it’s by person
2) it’s by table
3) there are no instructions what to do except for a small sign on the table
4) none of the staff explain anything to you
5) there are three different QR codes to choose from
So with so trial and error and explanations from other friends who have visited before (or arrived earlier than us).
I ordered a cup of the cream of chicken soup. It came cold and I had to send it back to warm up. They brought (hopefully) a new cup of WARM soup. It wasn’t much warmer than the previous bowl, so I just dealt with it. I then ordered the boneless buffalo wings. Just call them cubes of chicken as that’s what they were. I ordered the soup, the cubes, potato wedges and a soda and it was $37. That’s a bit steep for what I ordered. And that was just me. My wife ordered a soda and a salad and it tacked on another $30. It’s pricey for what it is.
If you want beer, you have to get a card and then open a tab and then select from a wall of selections. You pay by the ounce, so unless you know what you want, it can get pricey as you order an ounce of different ones to taste them.
Then came the 80s trivia and there were a lot of teams for a cold Thursday night. It was a lot of fun. I believe there were prizes for the top three teams. Our two teams were not among the winners.
It was a fun night out and worth checking out for fun. They have line dancing, board games, trivia nights and more served up with some traditional bar fare.
And how can you pass up a place called The Parched Pug?

So I don’t know what happened to this place. I’ve been a regular since they opened. I took my brother and sister-in-law here around Christmas, horrible service well done burger that was ordered medium rare, and it took 45 to get out food. Each time I’ve gotten takeout there’s been spilled sauce all over the bag, and the last time I got takeout she gave us the bag with the sauces spilled on their side, like she literally looked at it, looked at us and then gave it to me. Then today is our last time we will ever come. We ordered the pug sliders with the sauce on the side. Half the sliders had the sauces stained in the bun after they wiped it off and the final one was how we ordered. They couldn’t even get new buns. Too busy worried about their reserved large parties to care about regulars. Avoid this place, gone in a year max at this rate. Makes me sad, loved it here. Sad thing is we were planning to do our family reunion here but this was the last straw. Such a bummer.

First off, the boneless wings were a real standout. They were made with fresh chicken and homemade sauce that was packed with flavor; probably the best boneless I’ve ever had! Even the blue cheese dressing was exceptional – I could have eaten it on its own! The beet salad was also a highlight, with the perfect combination of sweet and tangy flavors.
The beer selection was impressive, and I was really impressed by the unique pay by ounce process.
The fries were hot and fresh, and the candie bacon had awesome flavor and chew…special shout out to Chef Frankie… he made great food from scratch and offered a taste of the sauce to make sure it was the right choice for us. His attention to detail and dedication to quality really showed in every dish.
It’s no wonder people keep coming back to this restaurant!
Overall, I highly recommend the Parched Pug. The food, drink, and service are all exceptional, and it’s the perfect spot for a night out with friends or family.

New Favorite Place! Went on a Sunday at about 3 pm, and it was not very busy. The service was fast and the few staff members that were there were super helpful. It was our first time going and we didn’t quite understand how everything worked as the beer is self service and you have to use a card to pour it. The menu and ordering system is based off of a QR code coordinated to your table number. Simply open the QR code on your phone and it opens a tab for your table. We had the short rib sliders, which were absolutely delicious. The meat was so tender. The drunken chicken sliders were also very good. The selection of beer, wine and cocktails was extensive. There is definitely something here for everyone. They also had a great selection of board games to play and you order those through the tab as well, but they are free to play. We will definitely be back and plan to bring many of our friends! 12/10 recommend

My new favorite place! I can’t believe I haven’t found this place sooner! The whole restaurant/bar is Pug themed with cute art and even fun pug items for sale! The place was very clean and had a great atmosphere. The food was excellent especially the sliders! I loved the QR ordering actually because you can order something whenever you want and get it fairly quickly, there is a server as well that stops by frequently to see if you need anything too. There is a wall of self serve alcohol which was really fun too! You could try a bunch of different things and only pay for the amount you poured. I love the modern restaurant style service they have implemented. They also have events fairly frequently and dog adoptions in the summer! This place is awesome and I can’t wait to go back!

Overall unimpressed. Paid $21 for a club sandwich that was at best decent with only water to drink. You also have to provide your tip prior to even getting your food.
The menu was a QR code you had to use your phone for, which meant my and my girlfriends orders were separate and no servers communicate with you other than sitting you down.
There was a stand up comedy event going on and there was a pretty bad echo and hard to understand the comedians.
To be blunt, it sucked and I’ll not return.

I had a blast here at the Howl O Ween dog costume event here today. The food was delicious at a phenomenal price and the self serve beer wall was amazing. we brought our dog and they even had a professional photographer to take photos of our dogs and we got our first professional photos of our beloved pup. Thank you Parched Pug and to the owners Mark and Heather for providing an excellent experience. Go eat here even if you don’t have a dog the atmosphere is incredible and again the self serve beer wall is a dream come true
