I have passed this place many times but finally went in for lunch. I was not disappointed.
The menu is pretty simple, tacos, tortas and burritos in 4 varieties. There are a limited number of beverage options. There are a few more items (lamb and cow’s head, for instance) on weekends. But a limited menu often means that they are confident in what they have and that confidence is well justified in this instance.
I had a burrito chorizo and it was meaty, flavourful and quite large. At $8, it was hardly cheap but it seemed worth the price. It came with two kinds of salsa, chopped onions, limes and fresh cilantro. Mouthwatering!
The service was friendly and, for those who might have concerns, English is definitely spoken here. That said, the clientele was mostly speaking Spanish, another good sign.
The only knock on the place was that the table was not spotlessly clean, although the friendly waitress quickly took care of that.
Good food, fast service, reasonable prices. I will be back again.
Pro Tip: I highly recommend the Horchata (a kind of cinnamon milk drink). It pairs perfectly with the spicy food served here.

Exactly what I’m looking for when I go to Indianapolis area. Just can’t beat the authentic Mexican food you find at the markets, an “hole in the walls”. Very good service, an they bring you containers of cilantro, onion, an limes. Squirt bottles of salsa at the ready. Highly recommend. Way different that the Americanized Mexican restraints with parrots on the booths. Sorry, ate my food an forgot to take pics.

I went yesterday for the first time. Had a carne asada taco and carne asada torta. The taco was great once I added the cilantro, onion and lime to it. But the torta was a huge disappointment. Would love to give a better review. Am up to visiting again with menu suggestions

I was looking for a quick bite around the area a decided to try this place, their tacos were good, real Mexican taqueria experience, there were two ladies taking care of the entire place one serving and the other one cooking, it wasn’t too busy and they took their time to prepare their food, it’s a family place but they do sell beer.

I had the Tacos Al Pastor. Wow. These were delicious. The best I have had since I was in actually in Mexico. AND the tortillas seem to be made fresh. They are delicious and oval shaped. Not round. This is perfect for a taco so you don’t get a big wad of tortilla and no filling at the top. Love this place. I want to try the barbacoa. I was told that they sell out on Saturdays by 3pm.
