I haven’t had a good, scratch that, a great New York bagel since the late 90’s! Service was excellent, patient, friendly and prompt. Nothing fancy, straight forward. Now I wish I lived much closer. I ordered two bagels, a few of their flaboredcream cheeses. Yum! Panera Bread should tremble if they expand to Topeka and/or Lawrence.

Great food and service, but a little higher in price.
I went to try them out when they opened, and I was extremely pleased with their customer service. The drive thru made ordering very easy, and they weren’t extremely busy.
Both the bagels I tried had good flavor, but I would have liked a little more between the bagel. One was a salmon and cream cheese with tomato. The other was the corn beef.
Again, both tasted great.
I did feel the price was a little high for the amount I received, but I still think it’s worth trying out.
I ended up going with 5 stars because the customer service was so good.
Overall, it is worth checking out. I’m not sure how often I’ll go back due to the price for what i received, though (entirely a personal opinion).

Really good New York style bagels. Mine (poppy seed) was a little saltier than I’m used to, but was the best I’ve had in KC and really really close to New York bagels. They are a little pricey compared to my East Coast haunts but it’s a lot cheaper than flying to New York to grab one. Definitely recommend if you want bagel in KC.

What a fun and very relaxing atmosphere. They have the cutest setup here and makes you feel at home. I got the everything smoked salmon bagel and it was the perfect breakfast and very tastey. Best bagels I have had so far. They have a great variety and I want to try them all.

The bagels are great! Good texture and flavor. We ordered 3 to try a few:
1. Chocolate chip bagel with Oreo Cream cheese schmear
2. Everything bagel with Jalapeño schmear
3. Sesame bagel with garlic and herb schmear
1. Was a great combo. The schmear is sweet and rich
2. Was a tasty bagel. The schmear tasted like plain schmear with fresh jalapeño thrown in. A little heat on the back end but not the upfront heat I was looking for. Looking for more spice.
3. Best texture bagel of the 3. The garlic schmear was very very strong. So much garlic it was almost spicy. If you love garlic, I’d go for it but it was a little much for me considering the amount of schmear they put on their bagels.
We’ll be back to try different combos

Very nice place, great staff. Large selection of bagels and toppings coffee was yummy. I had the cinnamon sugar schmear on a plane bagel and it was good.

Absolutely the best bagels in KC. These are real East Coast style bagels and in 20 yrs living in KC I’ve found nowhere else that comes close. BUT … $6.30 for a bagel with a couple tablespoons of thinned out cream cheese is just too much. I asked for the olive cream cheese and got a very frugal serving of some plain light whipped cream cheese. For 6 bucks, you can put a 1/4 lb of real cream cheese on there and still be over 500% markup. I was the only customer in there, but was politely asked to wait while the girl at the counter futzed around with something. The bagels are great. Were they rationally priced, I’d stop in frequently for myself and buy a dozen to bring to the office for weekly meetings. But at $6+ each, it will remain an occasional (like once a year) treat when I’m really missing Philadelphia food.

I got a Bialy with butter after the workers recommended it. Perfect choice, it made me wish I ordered two but one was perfect. The 3 girls working that Wednesday morning were very helpful and pleasant to chat with. They gave me recommendations for my time in KC and made for a nice morning. I only wish they would have told me to eat there as eating a buttered Bialy while driving can be a little messy.
