Our family ate dinner here Christmas Eve. It’s a warm cozy atmosphere! We all loved our meals. The lamb chops and the ribeye steak were cooked perfectly. The Bronzino and Piccata Milanese was delicious, too. Our server was very attentive!

I took my girlfriend here for date night and I was very skeptical when I walked in seeing the dining room empty (it was 8:45). We ordered a couple of cocktails and the lobster ravioli as well as the grilled branzino. The food was exceptional – I was blown away by the flavor of the sauces and how they complimented the texture of the dishes.
This is also a great destination for whiskey lovers, they have an impressive selection of rare bottles that you’ll have to see for yourself.
And lastly, our waiter Rafat was so attentive and professional. Definitely set the bar high for the next time we visit!

I haven’t been into the restaurant yet, but tonight I ordered delivery from One Bar and Grill. I got the risotto primavera. While it was very tasty, the portion was a bit small. I don’t tend to eat very large meals and I was actually still hungry after eating this. I get the restaurant business is tough but $23 and I’m still hungry? Should probably be sold as an appetizer so someone doesn’t expect to be filled up after ordering an entree.

Enjoyed our dinner here. Excellent selection of bourbons, the tapas selection was quite extensive and everything we got was delicious. Had the pork belly buns, the meatballs, the garlic shrimp and the ahi tuna were excellent!!! Prices not too bad. Need to go back and test out the rest of that menu. This is one of the best restaurants in old town Fairfax. Consistently good food in a nice setting. The service can be a little spotty at times, with certain servers friendlier/more attentive than others. We don’t get why they don’t attract more customers -it’s never busy when we go, even on weekend nights. Recommend if you’re in the area to check it out. They have tapas and full size portions and I don’t think we’ve had anything that wasn’t good.

We love One Bar and Grill! My parents stumbled upon this restaurant through word of mouth a year ago when we first moved to the neighborhood, and I’m so glad they did. We’ve had about 5-6 meals here over the last year, and every time we’re so impressed by the food, the ambience and the service. We’re Lebanese and we find they do Mediterranean food very authentically and well, which is hard to come by! The fact they also do really great and also interesting takes on american bistro classics is really impressive- perfect for us since these are essentially our favorite foods!
Our favorite appetizers to get are the pork belly, incredibly tender with a port ginger sauce. We find their tuna tartare pairs really well with it, since it has a bit of a wasabi kick.
For dinner, I’ve enjoyed the steak au poivre, the lamb ossobuco, the chicken shish tauok and lobster pasta. Family has also loved the mixed grill, lamb kafta, and the chicken alfredo.
For dessert we really like the chocolate tort and cheesecake. Their wine list is also really nice, and we find offers interesting wines at a good value which we really appreciate. Their Turkish coffee is also outstanding- something the chef has graciously prepared for us even though it’s not on the menu!

First visit today for lunch, we will definitely be back for dinner and happy hour. Happy hour is every day, even weekends! Brie appetizers was fantastic! Also had chicken piccata, flank steak and island shrimp tapas. Everything was beautifully presented and tasted even better! Great service!
