I’m honestly confused by this restaurant’s high Google rating, which is why we decided to give it a try, but it fell far short of expectations. The dining area was so dark it felt like eating in a cave, and the hour-and-a-half wait for our food only built anticipation for a meal that never delivered. We weren’t in a rush, hoping the long wait meant the kitchen was crafting something special, but the food was a major disappointment. The flavors were far from authentic Chinese cuisine—more like a bland, generic imitation. The waitress was very nice, and the service was attentive, but that couldn’t salvage the experience. This place doesn’t live up to its rating. No bueno.

It’s a 2.5 star restaurant. Service is pretty good once the waitress decided to get off the phone. Ordered a tofu & veg soup that was not well seasoned with uncooked and crunchy bits of veggies finely chopped. Had the all vegetable dish with special chef sauce that was not much flavor and watery. The shrimp and chicken fried basket was just okay and had the most flavour of all the dishes. We think a little expensive and not very nice restaurant interior. I am not going back and wouldn’t recommend.

I love this place. Luis and his wife Lilli know how to run their business and like many restaurants, have moved to a take-out focused model. The place is seriously no-frills and I’m not sure we will ever eat-in, but our take-out Sesame Chicken, Kingdao Shrimp and fried rice was really tasty, generous portions and super-hot. It seems to be a hit with the Guadiana Gringos (like us). Great value – great food.

Long wait times. Pretty mid Chinese food. If the food was good then the wait would be worth it. Don’t recommend.

Solid B quality food. When you think about how cheap their prices are compared to anyone else in town, can’t complain.

My wife and I have tried to have dinner here twice. Both times we were told there would be a 40 minute wait to be served, so we just went somewhere else. I’d love to try the food, but I find it difficult to wait 40 minutes for the privilege.

Honestly, I’m my opinion this place was great. We walked there, and that was a great call because we honestly overdid it with the ordering. The pineapple chicken that I ordered was moist and not overpowered by the pineapple. The Lo main was also good. My husband’s general tso was still crunchy once it came out to our table. Everything we ordered was made from scratch, and it showed. Honestly, it’s the best place I ate in San Miguel. Ohh do be sure to have patience because there is only one waiter since he said their business is mostly more to go since it’s a cash only place.

Best Chinese food I had in the 3 months I’m traveling in Mexico. Service was awesome, speedy, and with smiles. Super fresh too. Don’t miss out on this gem.

The best Chinese food in town. Great prices as well. We dine in and order out. If you dine in, try one of their sizzling plates! Don’t expect much for atmosphere if you dine in. Keeping the dining room bare bones is likely how they keep their prices so low. Just enjoy the food. Oh, they are cash only (solo efectivo), so make sure you bring MXN pesos!

We got the broccoli in garlic sauce, vegetarian egg rolls and the veggie ravioli (all veggies). The vegetables were so fresh and everything was delicious! We were a bit hesitant about this place (based on the appearance). I’m glad we gave it a shot! We were pleasantly surprised. The service was a bit slow and it may depend on what you ordered. We’ve been twice and we’ll definitely go back!
