This was our first time here and it was wonderful! We were taken care of by Jean, the owner of the restaurant and she was so friendly and welcoming! For appetizers, we had the beef wrapped in scallion pancake, hot soy bean drink and pan fried pork buns. They were delicious! Reminded me of when our family went to Taiwan! For entrées, we had the 3 cup calamari, shredded pork with bean curd and bamboo shoot and stirfry green beans. All three were tasted great! The 3 cup calamari had a complex flavor with the Thai basil added to it. For dessert, we had the tofu dessert with red bean and peanuts, which was a nice way to end the meal. We definitely recommend going there to try it out if you like Taiwanese food! We will have to come back on the weekend for their dim sum!

My wife, daughter and I were out and about in Newton and stumbled upon this cute little restaurant around the corner. The owner was very welcoming and the food came out quickly! We ordered their Taiwanese sausage, soup dumplings, Taiwanese cabbage, beef noodle soup, beef chow foon and pork rice cake. Everything was delicious and cooked quickly.

This might be one of my new favorite Chinese/Taiwanese place nearby. Will be coming back for take out soon.

Authentic Taiwanese food!! Although nothing fancy, food tastes good and you get to talk to nice Taiwanese people. Would definitely recommend to anyone who misses Taiwanese food or would like to try something different.

Small , simple place makes good food. Not fancy, but tastes good. I’m vegetarian and I had the Fried Tofu with Chinese Eggplant. Excellent, with a rich brown sauce, ginger, and garlic.

The interior is simple, well lit, clean. Woman who works the register is a bit abrupt but she’s efficient.

Great place for takeout. Simple restaurant food inside.

I can’t stop thinking about the beef noodle soup, it might be the best I’ve ever had. So flavorful, the meat was perfection (thick, soft, the melty more fatty parts were the perfect soft chewy texture), noodles and boi choy cooked perfectly.

Also had the ginger tofu custard which also was amazing. This place seems super authentic. I also like the homey cozy vibe, 100% would return here to try more dishes, the quality of the food was so good!

Really tasty food, especially the dim sum options on weekends. Good service. Water served in paper cups. You need to get the waiter’s attention if you need something, but at least if you’re seated on the bottom floor they’re right there.

Food is authentic and we really love the beef noodle soup. However it was indeed a shock when every dish came with plastic bowls, plastic sauce containers, plastic spoons, and paper plates. For a dine-in experience I would give it a THREE star.
