Formerly Salamone’s Pizza & Pasta, we have moved our business to Fircrest and renamed it Slice Garden. The same team is excited to offer several high quality, homemade, authentic pizza styles in a full service restaurant. You can join us for lunch or dinner here in our dining rooms or you can take pizzas, salads and appetizers out. You can also order from any of the major services (Slice, Doordash, UberEats, or Grubhub) for delivery or pickup. Stay tuned as we introduce more pizza styles. This is a must try spot. You can’t go wrong with anything you order. Pizzas are excellent with a great variety of styles to choose from. The NY style pizza is excellent and cooked to perfection. The grandma cheese slice was my absolute favorite it was perfectly crispy and the sauce is so good you can eat it by itself. The meatballs are an absolute must try they are 3 to an order and they are so light and flavorful in the marinara sauce with fresh garlic. Also the buffalo wings were huge and the sauce is made in house and it has a great flavor not hot and not acidic just perfect. They have a wonderful staff that is very attentive and helpful go grab a drink and enjoy the great food!!

The quality of the pizza and ingredients of the pizza was really good. The timing was fairly well and the service from our waitress was great as well. Only issue is we had was that we specifically mentioned that we would want grandma pizza with pesto as seen in another review and we showed the same photo we were referring to, but there must’ve been a miscommunication or misunderstanding between the cashier and the cooks because they gave us our pizza with strictly pesto only and not tomato marinara sauce. Hundred percent sure it would’ve been better with the marinara sauce, but it’s just kind of disappointing. We didn’t feel like going back in trying to get it right because we had a busy day. Might come some other time give it another shot. I’m sure would’ve been great.

Really cool place, laid back and cozy. They played all my teenage daughter’s favorite music, so she was stoked about that. There’s a bar inside too, which is kinda cool if you’re into that sort of thing. The gentleman that helped was was very nice and attentive. We got the grandma pizza and it was really yummy! Like a fococcia bread, light and airy, perfectly crisp on the bottom and edges. The flavor was good, but it needed a sprinkle of salt and then it was great. The water was even good too (some places have weird tasting water). Apparently we went during Happy Hour, which was a nice surprise when I saw the discount at the end.

Definitely a UP hidden gem, this place is a bit off the beaten path but it is so worth it tasting their delicious pizza! I got 2 slices, a grandma pizza and another I forgot the name, and they were quite probably the best pizzas I had in the city. I will probably be coming back soon.

It’d hard to find authentic New York style pizza anywhere. This place has an incredible variety of flavors, toppings, appetizers which the buffalo wings are the best app they have. The buffalo sauce is perfectly balanced and by far my favorite house made sauce. The service is excellent. Solid team of people working there. Definitely give this restaurant a go for quick slices or full dine in experience. They have a full bar as well so its easy to sit and stay for a while(:

I just ate the best calzone I’ve ever had. I ordered cheese calzone with veggies, my partner ordered the Stromboli and both were fantastic! The service was excellent too, they did not let our glasses empty and were just great vibes. Lots of TVs so a great place to watch a game. Highly recommend!!

I walked in on a random day, not expecting much, just chasing that little taste of home. Right away, the vibe was chill, lowkey—exactly the kind of spot you’d want to stumble into. The hostess greeted me with a smile, and I ordered a pepperoni slice and a grandma slice (because finding a solid grandma slice outside NY? Practically impossible).
Both slices? Fire. Crispy crust that can hold the fold (if you know, you know), perfect cheese pull, seasoned just right. I didn’t even reach for garlic or oregano—and if you’re from NY, you know that says a lot. Might throw it on next time just cause, but it honestly didn’t need it.
If you’re ever craving that authentic NY flavor, don’t sleep on Slice Garden.
