The service was great but the food was not good and had no flavor. It’s over priced for servings size and you buy everything separate so you will spend at least $15+ for meal and drink.
I’ll never return because the food was low quality, I didn’t eat it. My friend said his was okay but he didn’t enjoy it either!! I honestly don’t see how they are staying business. The customers apparently don’t have taste buds.

I stopped in for a vegetable plate. The staff was friendly and greeted me when I arrived. Aside from the self-service drink station and counters not appearing very clean, I was enjoying my food. Unfortunately, that changed when I scooped what appeared to be an eyelash out of my cabbage. This is why I gave 2 stars. I was immediately disgusted and did not finish my plate.

There aren’t very many times that I can say that a place offers great tasting food in conjunction with a pleasant staff and atmosphere. However, this is one of them, possibly the best that I’ve been to in years! Had I saw this restaurant before, then I would’ve been there more than twice in the last month since I’ve known about it. (I apologize for posting the plate of food after I had already dug into it. The appearance and portions were far better than shown)

Ok it was 4pm before i got off work with no lunch. So i was HANGRY,lol. I got country fried steak with gravy. It was huge and delicious. Had green beans, mashed potatoes with gravy, okra (excellent) and corn dish with cornbread. Pecan pie for dessert. And a diet Pepsi- STOP JUDGING ME , atleast something was diet ba ha ha. Normal meal is entree and 2 sides. But i got 2 extra sides($5) , pecan pie ($3.50) and a drink ($2.25) without extras it was good deal. $10.99 plus drink. I really enjoyed everything. Please try them. So many choices hard to decide.

Very bad experience! Drink machine it’s moldy. My food was old and they gave me used utensils and bowls . My Mexican cornbread had mold growing on it . My experience was so bad I had to go to the hospital after. Also their dining area roof was leaking. Terrible experience! So sad

For $16.95 this is what you can get, pot roast you can’t eat that was full of fat, peas that have no taste and a roll when you ask twice for Mexican cornbread. I felt rush, I have ate here a few times way back but never again.

OMG, I had pork chop, mac and cheese, okra, a roll and pie The meal was not tge best. The pork chop over cooked and mostly fat, okra was cold and over cooked, mac and cheese was okay. The pie ( I’m guess key lime) had a nasty after taste. The only thing good on the pie was the whipped cream. The best thing I had was the roll and sweet tea. I was very disappointed in my meal because this was our first time here. My partner got tge pot roast and mashed potatoes and I had a bite of it and it was good. I guess I just got the wrong items. The staff was friendly and nice and the restaurant was clean.

I absolutely love Grant’s! First time in town and I stumbled upon it, as it was close to my hotel. Food and service were great and the classic tunes set the vibe like I was eating at my Nana’s! I had the pot roast, friend okra, mashed potatoes and of course, banana pudding. Everything was delicious! Will be back every visit to Jackson. Highly recommend

Delicious, southern, down home eats! We dined in for our first time and it definitely won’t be our last! We enjoyed a variety of menu items that were all delicious. The meatloaf, Mac&Cheese, Mexican cornbread and chocolate chess pie were showstoppers! 10/10 recommend!

Really great food and restaurant ! I got one of the meat combo plates and left extremely satisfied! They have great soul food like red beans and rice, chicken and dumplings, catfish, etc. Customer service was also great! A young man jaden made our first time wonderful and the woman in the lobby was extremely kind! Makes me definitely want to return when I come back in town. Hoping there will be more locations soon!
