Fast friendly efficient. They offer samples, most of the chicken dishes were excellent, the saffron rice is delicious, did not like the lemon rice , but you can sample that also.
If you’re hungry the three entree combo is enough food for an entire day. You get two sides, picked onion, picked cabbage and potato salad were all excellent.
The strawberry lassi yogurt drink was too sweet but mango lassi was better, but they were so brightly colored it made me suspect food coloring.
The naan bread was decent. Will definitely eat here again. Probably the best that the food court has to offer, with sarku Japan a close second.

The highest quality restaurant available at the Washington Square Mall food court. They have a pretty extensive menu of different Indian foods, including a lot of options available to eat right after purchase as well as items that they make fresh after you order. They offer different types of meats and sauces, and all that I’ve tried so far have great flavor. Their butter chicken is definitely a favorite from a lot of people who order. It is a pricier option than other restaurants around it, but not by much, and well worth it. Service is really nice and the employees take the time to remember you if you’re a repeat customer. Whether you’re a first time customer or you’ve been there before, you can easily tell that they love the food they make for you. Definitely recommended.

Bombay Wala of India inside Washington Square Mall is a hidden gem! The owner and staff were so friendly and welcoming — they even offered us samples before we ordered. Prices are super reasonable (the 3-item combo with curries, rice, and salad for $16.99 is a steal), and everything tasted authentically Indian. The chicken kheema curry was delicious, and they made our poori fresh to order — hot and fluffy right from the kitchen. Honestly, instead of spending money on badly made biryani in Beaverton, come here! Even though it’s in a food court, the flavors beat most sit-down restaurants.

I have to be gluten and dairy-free and it’s really hard for me to find a place where I can eat. Not only can I eat there because they are gluten and dairy-free it’s also really yummy. The chicken in the peanut butter sauce is my favorite. Also I really liked the cabbage and the rice was nice and fluffy and not hard.

I was waiting for boba and one of the people working at Bombay Wala of India waved me over as I was staring at the menu. They quickly started handing me spoon samples even asking if I had any allergies just to make sure.
Both people working were so incredibly friendly. I ended up getting the Butter Chicken and Peanut butter Chicken as well as the saffron rice and Garlic Naan. Everything is so good and the portions were great! They even wrapped my container in plastic wrap and put it in a bag since I was taking it to go so that I would have a mess free meal! The extra care was appreciated! I dont frequent this mall often but if I want some Indian food this place will definitely be up on the list!

If you’re craving authentic Indian flavors with an Indian touch, Bombay Wala of India delivers an experience that blends tradition with comfort. SThe menu showcases a wide spectrum-from hearty North and south Indian curries to Indian style street food favorites-making it a go-to spot for both everyday meals and indulgent cravings.
A very humble team and vibrant food culture into a sit-down dining experience. Portions are generous, prices are reasonable for the quality, and the flavors remain consistent.
Thank you Bombay wala of India, felt as though I had my lunch in India thanks to your gestures.

I’ve seen many reviews, and like a lot of places, they vary quite a bit, so I can only speak of my experience. I am a fan of Indian cuisine and have had the best from all over. I am going to rate Bombay Wala as a mall food provider only. And with that, the food was very good. From a flavor standpoint, it was better than some of the offerings in the food court. The owner was very generous and gave out samples. I actually ordered too much food and ended up in a food coma soon after. Butter chicken, rice, saaki, and Lassi were all very good. Portions were generous, and I felt it was a good value when compared to the other shops in the court. Oh, and the potato salad was to die for.

The food is really yummy! The flavor is a bit less strong than other places which makes it really yummy for people who may not as strong flavors. They keep the kitchen and the outside really clean. They are super friendly and gave an xtra sweet dessert. Best of all, not expensive. I only paid about $15 per those 4 sides and the dessert.

I ordered panner tikka masala and garlic Naan. And what I received was anything but panner tikka masala 🙁
Tikka masala is supposed to be “SPICY”. What i received was sweet and tangy! I couldn’t believe that an Indian restraunt got tikka masala wrong. What they gave me is closer to panner butter masala.
And even then, the panner cubes were not even grilled. They just tossed big chunks of raw panner in the gravy. They tasted super bland. There wasn’t a single other vegetable in the curry. Just paneer + gravy and that’s it.
The Naan was not bad, but it was way too soggy. Overall, it was a sloppy and lazy job for a $17 curry and $6 naan. The taste and sincerely no where matches the price. They did give me free gulabjamun, but it cannot change the fact that i couldnt enjoy my main dish 🙁
Utterly disappointed.
Update:
I just ate their free gulabjamun. Wow, i think it’s the worst I ever ate in my entire life. I suspect they added food color to it, which, if they did, was absolutely unnecessary. So, I am just changing my review from 2 star to 1 star.
My review is 1 star because of (i) how badly they screwed up everything, (ii) no effort put into making food despite $17 price, and (iii) I don’t understand why they have 4+ rating currently

This was my first time having Indian food. I have to say that giving samples was not only a way of tasting the food. But the biggest plus was hearing how knowledgeable they are about the food. It was delicious. I tried the butter chicken, and it was delicious, just the right amount of spices.
I have to recommend anyone who is ready for a new adventure of deliciousness. Go and try it now. I don’t think you will be disappointed
