Our to go place for authentic Chinese food. The pecking duck was very true to its tradition. The overall culinary style is true to the city of Beijing and its surrounding areas. They occasionally have a secret menu of homemade dishes. Be sure to ask for a food surprise!! Highly recommend!

I love this place, the meatball tofu veggie soup on the special menu is so healing and comforting, I always get rice on the side for this soup, ask for it directly if you want to order this since it’s on the special menu! The dumplings, the green bean pork stir fry (My favorite take out order) and the Kung Pao chicken are also amazing, for the dumplings I highly recommend the one with the shrimp, pork and chives filling. I can never understand why this place is not packed when I come here, it deserves so much more love and people are really missing out on the best Chinese food on the island. The chef here is the most friendly man and always keeps this place sparkly. Give this place a try, order an authentic Chinese (not westernized Chinese) dishes and you won’t regret it.

What a wonderful surprise ❣️. Fantastic tasty fresh food, of good proportions, cooked by a 30 year experienced Beijing chef. Service was fabulous, with a very humble, kind, gracious, friendly and gentle server. Didn’t have to wait at all for food to be prepared hot and fresh, even though they were busy with a constant stream of online delivery orders, and dine-in patrons. Humble environment, which only makes the experience more of an amazing meal. $$$

The food at this Beijing bistro is absolutely delicious, especially the fish, which was incredibly flavorful and perfectly cooked. The two of us finished two whole fish because it was just that good. The environment is pleasant and comfortable, and the service is friendly and attentive.

We went to Beijing Bistro for our Friday before the wedding rehearsal dinner, so they hosted a large group of 2 tables. They did a fabulous job of making sure we were taken care of, and the food was amazing. Can’t wait to go back to my new favorite Chinese Food place here in Victoria!

Quick service and the man serving us was super sweet. Goes to show you don’t need to speak the same language to connect with people, food builds that bridge for us
