la vaquerita jalisco has become my take out guilty pleasure. so far, i have enjoyed everything they have. portions are solid, prices are fair, and service is friendly and fast. definitely a great spot to stop at for quick takeout, or enjoy your meal in their comfy outdoor seating.

Y’all, don’t sleep on this taco truck! It’s a family favorite for us. My kids love the Quesa Birria with the consomè, my favorite is the Al Pastor tacos. The pepino limon agua fresca is always so refreshing. If they sold the salsa by the jar I would buy it! We received excellence service and the atmosphere was inviting. You get what you pay for; quality delicious food! (I would have included a picture of the Birria but it was gone before I had a chance)

The loaded nachos were awesome! It was a really big serving, and the pastor meat was seasoned perfectly AND didn’t have too much oil in it! It was awesome to be able to get something with pastor and not have oil dripping off of it! The cashier was super friendly and recommended a pineapple Agua fresca to my wife that she loved, and I had the horchata, which was amazing! Again, both drinks were a great serving size as well (it looked to be about 16 ounces). There’s a seating area with some nice shade if you want to eat on site as well! I’ll definitely be back to try some of the other meat!

The best food in the Del Valle area there birria Ramen and tortas are the best. They also have the best aguas frescas in Texas not to sweet also not too watered down. There cucumber lemonade is one of my favorites

I was craving an elote/corn in a cup and tacos. I saw all the good reviews but my husband didn’t think it was going to be good but I convinced him to order it anyways. I was immediately bummed that the elote/corn didn’t have the proper chile that goes on and had to settle for Valentina My elote/corn in a cup was cold and not warm/hot like it should be. The red/orange salsa smelled of pure cumin but the green one was great. They were overpriced for mini tacos but it is what it is. The man was also going to charge $2 for a can of soda but a lady there said it was $2.25 and it seemed like robbery to me! I can only imagine what they charge for the Jarritos. All in all the tacos were okay. My husband said the tripe ones he ordered didn’t have much flavor and tasted old (not fresh). Disappointed.
