I do not like pho, or I did not like pho before visiting Pho Than Brothers. I had to come here for work with a client. This place has completely changed my view on it. Absolutely delicious food, and very quick service. I will for sure be back, and very soon.

Found a small plastic bag in my pho — yes, an actual plastic bag in my soup. Told the staff, they didn’t apologize, didn’t replace it, and acted like it was nothing. This is a serious health hazard. If you value your safety, do NOT eat here.

Having been coming here since my college days around 10 years ago. Thank you for still serving the cream puffs! One of my most unique and nostalgic college memories ❤️

Favorite pho place in the U District. I have been going here since I started attending UW. Most of the Pho places have the same menu but something about the soup at this place makes me come here as opposed to any other pho restaurant on the Ave

I thoroughly enjoyed the Pho experience, the food was excellent. With so many different restaurants on the ave, it’s easy to walk right past it. Take a quick moment to eat here, as the food comes super quick!

Do not eat here! Public health hazard! Poor food prepping! I was served mealy bug-infested vegetables (white bugs on the leaves see photos below). I instantly knew they were mealy bugs and mealy eggs because I work at a greenhouse and I deal with pest such as these all the time. Check your fresh vegetables before you eat them and don’t always trust restaurants to prep all your food properly. Also Seattle/King County assesses all the restaurants in Seattle and grade their food preparation practices and places the assessment on a curve for a grade and This restaurant rated “good” which is actually terrible because the curve is set for top 80% to be in the “excellent” category. Just don’t eat here!

Food:
-meat genuinely tastes bad, but it may be up to your taste buds
-pho is usually served with raw beef slices, but I wasn’t given any
-complimentary cream puffs were nice
-pho broth lacks potency in iconic flavors such as the fragrance, and beef flavor
Atmosphere
-classic asian restaurant atmosphere; everything is sticky and the silverware container is suspicious
You are better off going to pho shizzle, which offers better food for a dollar less

Reasonable price and we got a mini dessert per person. The Pho was really nice and the meat was thin but tender. Generous amount of noodles and a cute bundle of toppings set on the side (Soy bean sprout, jalapeno, basil leaves, lime) as well as classic well loved sauces.
The atmosphere is quiet yet friendly, no music played but you could hear the bustling streets outside giving it a nice ambience.
Quick service and friendly smiles, the serving sizes were appreciated too.

“I came back to visit after graduating from the university 10 years ago, and the flavor is just as good as I remember—if not even better. The owner is incredibly friendly, and the service is quick. I truly hope this place never closes.

When I went ahead to eat my pho I got for takeout the noodles were completely stuck together in a huge block. It took many many minutes to get bites and there are still many chunks that are stuck together. Disappointed.
