Really enjoyed the place! It is a drive in so you don’t actually need to leave your car. Was a super convenient place to get take out. Had a delicious pork chop sandwich. The pork was fried and crispy and hot. You can put an assortment of different condiments on it. Excellent food! They also brought it out fast. Price wasn’t bad either. In total it was around seven dollars or so for a pork chop sandwich. I think they have meal deals but I just got the sandwich and that was enough for my dinner.

Would highly recommend this spot if you are in the area. They have a huge menu, good prices, fast service and good food.

The three stars is for order completion. Many people have commented about orders being wrong and I am one of the people in that category. I ordered a combination sandwich, curly fries and a chocolate shake. What I got was a plain pulled pork sandwich with curly fries and a chocolate shake. According to my receipt I did pay for a combination sandwich. That being said, the pulled pork was flavored nicely and it was a good sandwich. The curly fries were cooked nice and the flavor was your typical curly fries. The shake was money though. Over all, the food was good. It just would have been nice to get what I paid for. The people were nice and the atmosphere was good. I will prolly be back sometime. Not sure when though as I don’t live in the area and only pass through occasionally.

Lupper was fantastic. We came down to Fred-Mo to visit and I had to stop by the Pig for a double combination and fries. We were seated right away and our order came out in a timely manner. Food was fresh and hot!

The pork bbq was dry and flavorless without sauce. Like it had been boiled in water. Possibly the worst I’ve ever had. We ordered some to go, when we ordered our dine in food. We must’ve waited 30 minutes, AFTER we ate. Never again. That said, the burgers and fries were decent. Go to Mike and Zach’s in Poplar Bluff and learn how to do Q!

Had my husband place a call in order to bring me food at work. Ordered a BBQ pork sandwich and it was rang in that way with cheese fries. My sandwich came with toast instead of a bun and has a little bit of hot sauce under the pork and looks like someone scraped some off the pork. Normally I get this great sandwich on a regular bun and covered in bbq sauce. This was spicy and cold.

I was just “passing through” on a long road trip (April 2024) and, as I usually do on such trips, looked for a local eatery. I accidentally found The Pig and decided to try. Super fast and friendly service. I had a straight-up cheeseburger with their unusually cut fries (which were pretty good). Definitely a local favorite and has a laid-back vibe. Nice outside eating also if the weather favors. It was worth the 10 minutes off my route to try.

We stop here a few years back, food was great. We stop here today, food was crazy expensive. I had the famous “brown” sandwich, what a joke, no meat between two pieces of toasted white bread. Ordered curly fries for $4, so both sandwiches $21 more like two kids meals. Can believe this place went down hill so badly in a few years.
Will not stop next time I go by.
My advice would be avoid this place unless you want an expensive snack.

Customer service was mediocre. We had to wait over an hour for our food. It looked like our order was forgotten. But food was hot when we received it.

Best item was cheese curds. Everything else was average. Nothing exceptional.

Hadn’t been there since I was a teen and she moved away. But went back for a memorial for a friend and asked another friend if the pig was still open and good as it used to be. She said yes wanna go, so we did! Had the loaded BBQ baked potato, taco tots, and BBQ nachos and it was great! Servings were huge and we couldn’t finish it all.(Hint: senior servings would be great). But my hubs is already talking about going back!!!
