We stopped by Jalisco’s this morning for brunch and it ended up being such a great experience! As soon as we walked in, we were greeted with a warm, friendly smile and told we could sit anywhere. The vibe was welcoming right from the start.
I ordered the cucumber lemonade and OMG — highly recommend! Super refreshing, crisp, and delicious. For food, we got the chilaquiles and the nachos (as pictured), and both were packed with flavor and the perfect amount of spice.
The place stayed busy the whole time we were there — even a local sheriff’s deputy came in, which to me says a LOT. You know they’re picky about where they eat, so that’s when you know the food is good!
If you’re visiting the area or just passing through, Jalisco’s is a must-stop. Friendly service, great food, and an overall awesome vibe. Definitely going back!

Stopped here while on a roadtrip back to Arizona. The food truly lived up to the ratings and was absolutely delicious. Will definitely be making this our stop when driving between CA and AZ.

Delicious beer-battered shrimp tacos! upgraded from rice and beans to potatoes bravas and I’m so glad I did, they were so delicious and pared well with the tacos. Rice was really good too! Also had their coffee horchata, it was so good! I’m visiting for a few more days and we’ll be back before we leave. This was a great find after being so disappointed yesterday at another Mexican restaurant that was so over priced and bland. I’m very happy we found this please! Very clean, friendly, great prices, definitely recommend!

This spot shares a building with a tire shop of the same name, which honestly just makes it better. Real hidden gem vibes.

I had the quesabirria tacos and they were pretty damn good—crispy, cheesy, rich, and just messy enough to feel right. The pepino agua fresca hit the spot too. Super refreshing, not too sweet.

It’s not fancy, but that’s part of the charm. Good food, no fuss. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in the area.

I stopped by earlier this week and sampled the tacos while my friend went with the chorizo and eggs… we were both happily surprised. The carne asada, chicharrón, and al pastor tacos hit the spot. I came back this weekend and gave the menudo a shot… seriously good stuff. My daughter had the two eggs, pancakes, and bacon combo and said it felt like a cozy, dinner-style breakfast.

Service was on point, friendly faces, and attentive without being overbearing. This place is a hidden gem, tucked away off the main drag. Whether you’re local or just passing through, it’s worth the detour. Clean, flavorful, and welcoming… way better than most spots you’ll find in Palm Springs or Desert Hot Springs.

If you’ve read this far, treat yourself and go grab a bite. Appreciate you taking the time to read… now go eat!

We were on our way back to the Central Valley then decided to try this restaurant. The food was delicious and service was excellent! I ordered the huevos rancheros and Agua fresca de limon y pepino. I would eat there again.

Definitely a must! Jalisco Breakfast and Mexican Food in North Palm Springs is an absolute hidden gem that truly delivers on all fronts. From the moment I stepped in, the friendly and helpful staff created an inviting atmosphere that set the stage for an exceptional dining experience. Don’t let the outside deceive you! YOU HAVE TO EAT HERE 🙂
The birria plate and birriaquiles were nothing short of amazing, showcasing the kitchen’s dedication to authentic Mexican flavors. The nachos and menudo definitely hit the spot as well. The family’s genuine enthusiasm for their culinary offerings added an extra layer of warmth to the entire meal. Their recommendations and attentive service elevated the dining experience, making it not just a meal but a memorable journey into Mexican cuisine.
For those seeking not only exceptional food but also a welcoming environment, Jalisco Breakfast and Mexican Food is where it’s at. I highly recommend this spot where warmth, flavor, and friendliness come together for a delightful dining experience. Try the aguas frescas and definitely have dessert 🙂 We’re coming back before our trip is over. The locals are lucky to have this restaurant in their backyard.

This spot was delicious! Homestyle cooking with a few twists. We got the menudo, chilaquiles quesadilla and chocomilks. That quesadilla was probably the best thing I ate all weekend. Stuffed to the gills with cheese, chilaquiles and salsa, I almost ordered a second one to go. The chocomilks were blended to perfection and took me back to my childhood. Overall, great food, lovely service and a solid meal!

Been in CV for nearly a year, how did I not know about Jalisco? Friend turned me on to it, now I owe them!

Not to be confused with others by the same name down south valley. Jalisco is approx 1 mile north of I-10 on Indian Canyon, dive looking place next to a tire shop.

Service is hospitable and quick.

Atmosphere is typical of a family run place; come in your flip flops and faded t-shirt, you’ll feel at home.

Huevos Rancheros was my first selection, and was beyond delicious. Just the right amount of spice. Churros were sugar cinnamon balls with a lite caramel inside, vanilla ice cream on the side. Can’t wait to try other menu items.

Not a night joint. Breakfast, lunch and early dinner. Closes at 5pm or 6pm.

Skip the tourist Mexican places and head north between Palm Springs and Desert Hot Springs. Jalisco is where the locals are, because they know!

Easily the best huevos rancheros I’ve ever eaten. Soo delicious, crispy, and flavorful. We also got the quesabirria tacos, which were yummy too! But would 10/10 recommend getting the huevos rancheros with an over easy egg. Great service and a super clean restaurant.
