They don’t really leave room for any negative feedback at The Lox. Menu is short and concise with made-in-house bagels, spreads, meats, vegan/vegetarian options. Food comes out in 5 minutes or less even when they have a crowd. All ingredients are fresh and wonderfully prepped.

Prices are reasonable, including for bloody Mary’s and mimosas. The lox bagel is a straightforward lox bagel, smoked salmon is fresh and not overpowering. I was also pleasantly surprised by the pastrami lunch bagel. The meat was painfully tender, juicy, and piled on. I could eat that for lunch everything if I lived in the area. If I was forced to make any complaints, all I would say is please get an espresso machine!! The cold brew was perfectly fine though lol. They also sell all their bagels and spreads in large to-go sizes so this is definitely a one stop shop for breakfast and lunch needs.

Place came highly recommended so had to stop by (twice) while visiting Columbus. Cozy little spot with plenty of seating inside and good vibes. Menu is pretty straightforward, I went with an everything bagel with garlic herb spread. The next morning I go a bacon egg and cheese on a sea salt + herb bagel. Both very delicious, bagels crisped perfectly, lots of spread on the bagel and the sandwich was solid with fluffy eggs and crispy bacon. Great service and friendly staff as well.

I absolutely love this place. I stopped in for the first time recently and tried the Cuban on a sea salt & herb bagel—it was incredible. I also highly recommended the spicy chive cream cheese. You can tell everything here is made in-house with real care, and the quality is top tier. I live over an hour away, but I’ll definitely make a point to grab bagels every time I’m in Columbus

The lox sesame lunch sandwich (with salmon, cream cheese, and pickles) cost $13.64 and was more than enough to leave me full and satisfied. The waiting time was short despite it being busy and having lots of orders. I also liked the atmosphere and the music.
5/5 – would definitely come back to try something else!

Wow, Lox Bagels… you’ve truly blown me away! I just experienced the most incredible breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had the pleasure of tasting. I got the Southwest with bacon on a salt and herb bagel, complemented perfectly by a refreshing blueberry mint lemonade.
The bagel was nothing short of perfection, crispy on the outside, warm and chewy on the inside. The herbs went beautifully with the kick of the poblanos.
When I return to Columbus, I will definitely be coming back for more. You’ve set a new standard in breakfast sandwich greatness.
10/10 absolutely, without a doubt, would recommend!

My husband and I went to Lox on a Saturday morning! Wow was it packed! The place is such an adorable and quant restaurant It had plenty of seating inside and an adorable patio outside. We both ordered the lox bagel. Mine on sea salt and his on sesame! OH MY GOSH…. These bagels were to die for. They make the bagels right there in the shop. They’re super super fresh and the sandwiches were amazing. Don’t get me started on the service. Their team there was above top notch! I can’t say enough about how exceptional our breakfast was!

Love this place so much! The bagels are incredible, very New York style, chewy, amazing flavor and texture. Tons of sandwich options, or just get a bagel and cream cheese: plenty of different flavors!

Also…. oh my god, the fried potato. This might be my favorite bite of food in the city. Get a side of egg sauce!

Great vibe also: very laid back, clean, and super kind staff. Angling to become a regular.

Went in around 10:30 am on a Saturday in August and only waited ~3 minutes to order! What a surprise! We were prepared to wait for a few extra minutes. We ordered the egg and cheese (with sausage) on a salt and herb bagel. The bagel was so delicious. It was crisp on the outside, soft on the inside. It had large flakes of salt on it and the herbs were not over powering (love). We also ordered an everything bagel with lox (added egg). Also very delicious. We will be coming back tomorrow! It was about $30 for two bagels adding protein to each bagel.

Stopped in after searching for good bagels in Columbus. Chatted with the owner a little on social media and was super excited to stop in.

At arrive I noticed the line was of length which is usually a good sign. I ordered the sea salt and herb bagel with chive cream cheese, generous on the cream cheese. As well as the potatoes as were recommended by the owner.

The bagel itself was delicious. Good crunch to chewy fluff ration good flavor. The bagel itself solid. Personally they were not generous with the cream cheese as requested and honestly even short changed in the amount for a normal bagel. For the cost I’d expect they would give you an amount cream cheese that was fair.

As for the recommended crispy potatoes… well they missed the mark. Light airy fry on them but completely flat on flavor. Zero seasoning and salt. Which with the bagel being well seasoned I was at a shock. I had to go to the counter and request salt to
Sprinkle over the potatoes to make them
Even semi worth it. If properly seasoned they are probably delicious but what I received 100% missed the mark and after being an owner recommendation thats worry some.

Cute bagel moment in cbus. They are a bit on the smaller side and prepare for a line. There were plenty of tables open, though! I thought the sea salt and herb bagel was an interesting blend and I’m glad I tried it. Very appreciative of the vegan cashew spread as well!
