I used to frequent the previous sushi place at this address, and had waited a while to try this place. The decor was nice, and it was quiet, though very cold today. I ordered the chicken ramen with the miso and shoyu broth, and an extra soft boiled egg. This place uses the more traditional thin, smooth ramen noodles, which is fine, but they don’t cling to the broth as well, so each bite was a little disappointing. The broth itself was warm-ish and not bad, but I expected a lot more flavor from either one of the broths I chose. I never add soy sauce to anything, but there was a distinct lack of salt on the dish, so I put a little bit. The eggs are obviously kept refrigerated, which is fine, but the broth was not hot enough to warm them up at all before being served. I left them in there until I was almost done and by then they were warm enough to eat. The chicken was fine, nothing special, the fish cakes however were some of the best I’ve ever had. And there was some kind of alge/ seaweed on the side that was quite delicious. All in all, I’ll be back to try again, and maybe just get miso broth, and ask for them to make it super hot and see how it goes.

Pro’s Nice looking, clean establishment and atmosphere. Priced fairly.
The few staff that were there were very nice. Portions were good size as well as the Sushi rolls.
Unfortunately…
Con’s:
Sushi rolls were loose not rolled correctly and fall apart.
Tako Yaki (Advertised special) was missing several key ingredients.
Pickled ginger was severely Moldy! Not safe to eat. Wasabi was some sort of fake flavored paste.
Yaki Soba was made with Top Ramen not soba noodles and seasoned with Chinese 5 Spice (Horrible choice in both noodles and seasoning) Not even close to what Yaki Soba should taste like.
Very disappointing went in the Garbage.
Severely under staffed clients had to “self service multiple times. I’m sure several of the Cons can easily be remedied but at this point I will choose to not recommend and will travel to Longview when craving sushi and related foods.

Went on a cool rainy evening around 6:45pm on a Saturday. It was our first time. We were greeted by a woman who handed us paper menus and said we could sit anywhere. We passed by a soda fridge, a silverware stand, a sauce table and found our seat around the corner. We have a family of 6, and it took us some time to order as we were new. We were thirsty so I walked back up to the counter to order drinks. We had to pay separately. We saw on the wall an order online option. Where you could just click to order, thought that would be easier than all 6 of us ordering at the tiny front counter one by one. We are ordered Chicken dumplings, egg rolls and spring rolls. They were quite good and well seasoned. We ordered 2 rice bowls, 2 ramens, and a Godzilla Sushi. Apparently, there was some mis communication between the app, the front hostess, and the owner/chef because all of our food came out 30 minutes later to go and the hostess told us we needed to hurry as they were about to close. We assured her we ordered in the app and showed her our receipt on our phone. The owner himself came and apologized to us, brought us a complimentary sushi and assured we were well taken care of, even if it was past closing (7:30pm) and we didn’t know it. With the knowledge I have now, I would do some things differently, and saved money, as the portions are a good size. Seems like a decent place for noodles, rice, sushi, boba etc. They seem to pride themselves on Togo orders, though. Want to give them another go soon!

I got 3 rolls and some takoyaki. Waited for over an hour for the order and there was only 3 physical people sitting eating there. I knew that because I went to bathroom to see how many were waiting too.

I went here because MT Fuji was closed and was dead set on sushi after going to DMV I was tired and hungry.

After getting the food about an hour and 10mins later and hearing all the chefs in the back yelling at each other and another lady before me was waiting an hour and 25mins I finally left

I went home and my husband and I ate our sushi, I loved my fried roll but… All the other rolls as well as the takoyaki made us extremely sick and we eat sushi often.

I was up that night for 2 hours with direahea and vomiting uncontrollably and my husband as well. I had to lay in bottom of shower curled up crying while I was throwing up it was so bad.

I love sushi and I love the detail they put into it but this is not a safe place to eat and I will never be going again.

I have personally ate twice at this establishment, the food is very good and that is what brought me back the second time but the service needs to be worked on. The cashier taking out order had no knowledge in the menu and does very little to explain the menu.

With a very unique menu with tons of ways to customize a dish she did very little to help explain the different options.

There isn’t many restaurants with so many ways to customize and order

so an attentive staff that can walk people through the menu and suggest recommendations would greatly benefit this place.

I wish success to this establishment and believe that with a knowledgeable staff it can be possible.

Most of their items are frozen which they thaw in the microwave then deep fry or cook, they don’t wash their hands nor do they wear gloves. They’ve used the same utensils for raw shellfish and then for raw beef or chicken. Black mold in many places of the kitchen, especially where they put their dishes at. Most of the food isn’t labeled, kept in storage for longer than what is recommended.

I’m a fan of sushi so it’s really hard to disappoint me when it comes to that.. BUT, they wanna charge $1.50 for a small cup of eel sauce.. AND ONLY FILL IT UP HALF WAY! Be for real. I had to ask the girl to fill them up all the way since I paid for them.. and then brought me the 3rd one I paid for.. HALF WAY FULL again.. even after I asked her to fill that one up too!
I understand charging for sauces or whatever.. but not when you are trying to skimp on it. It’s a tiny cup as it is, DEFINITELY NOT worth $1.50, but to barely fill it up?? Nah lol

The food was amazing and the service was great. The space is beautiful, but it’s on the smaller side, so seating is a bit limited.

The food was clearly microwaved, the fried shrimp tempura tail was mushy and bendy, clearly signs of not being fried in kitchen. The ramen broth is as well packet made and lacks any depth. The portion size of the ramen was horrible gfir the price of other ramen joints. Furthermore the chicken had literally zero seasoning and was not even grilled or anything; it lacked crust and was dry. The service was also poor as my ramen came out 10 minutes before my brothers were n top of them not even having proper silverware for ramen. All they had was a long literal spoon
