UPDATE
One of our favorite dishes is SP5. Pad Prik King. It is best when made with French green beans, which they had been doing the past few months. Maybe its a supply issue, but the drop in quality from the French beans to the more pedestrian standard green beans is significant – chewier, less flavorful. Its my wife’s favorite dish, and I like it too, but only when they use the French beans I hope they go back to the French beans, its a far superior product, especially for a $20 dish where better quality is expected.
The good is wicked fast service and large portions, plus paper containers for doggie bags, unless it’s liquid like soup (good job!).
The bad is ordering 0 stars for myself, another ordering 1 star, and a third person wasn’t even asked how many stars they even wanted. Everything came out quite spicy and most could not eat their dinners. The chicken green bean dish had green beans that were merely warmed, so not cooked in any way, so making it inedible due to that and being way too spicy.
The ugly is a 3% credit card fee. Consumers are REALLY getting sick of businesses that cheap out on this. A $4 up charge to get brown rice instead of white. With that in mind, it makes me want to point out that another recent review pointed out that there was a $5 upcharge for a handful of cashews, yet only $2 for beef, so are penalizing vegans/vegetarians. Cashews are more than beef, seriously??
Doubt I’ll be returning.
They have a large vegetarian section and lots of things are vegan or able to be vegan just ask.
First and last time I ate at this Thai restaurant I was disappointed. It was just not good and that was about 8 years ago.
Eight years later, tonight, I thought I’d give it another chance. Encouraged by the amount of cars parked in front.
I ordered a Thai soup with chicken and Pad Tha noodles with pork. The soup was ok, but. It very Thai like. But the pad Thai was the worst I have ever eaten. Tasted absolutely like shredded wet cardboard. a weird flavor that was really a non flavor. The meat was like dried up old restaurant meat chunks.
i’m extremely mad that I spent the money there. If you know Thai food, or any good food, don’t go. Waste of money.
