I first ate here over the summer alone and returned today. My family sat first while I went across the street with my oldest who was getting a haircut. And to support what I believe is Black-owned business. My experience was a total reversal. When I walked in about 15min after my family sat, I stood at the counter for an extended period, clearly ready to order, but was completely ignored.
Two customers walked in after me; the employee helped both and then simply walked away, still not acknowledging me. I sat down where my family sat down and watched as she kindly greeted every other person who entered. My family was treated well when they ordered earlier, making the coldness directed at me even more glaring.
I spoke with her before leaving, her apology felt insincere, and told her I will write this review. I have no desire to patronize a business where I’m made to feel invisible. I ripped up my punchcard for the three salads we bought and left it on the counter, as I WILL NEVER COME HERE AGAIN.
* The salads are good, and the place is clean. Maybe today was an anomaly, but it was uncalled for.

We went to the New Paltz location and the salads and bowls were great. Everything was fresh and good and service was sweet and patient. Giving one less star for atmosphere because the place was cold. She turned on the heat higher but every time someone opened the door was a bit chilly although we were there when 8 degrees outside 🙂 would definitely go back when in New Paltz. My family loved the bowls and chipotle dressing. I would recommend getting Kalamata olives in brine versus the black olives that are precut. That is my only suggestion. Nice to find such a fresh salad place.

AMAZING selection of fresh food. Atmosphere is a vibe all by itself! It’s clean and the food is prepared right in front of you. Service is A+, the owner is present and engages with the customer. I cannot say enough good about this place. An absolute gem right in the heart of New Paltz. Even the bathroom is clean and cute!! Can’t wait to go back!

First experience here and it was absolutely wonderful!! Noah and Julie went above and beyond to ensure that myself and my group were aware of all of the menu options and customizations. Would highly recommend this place, especially if you’re a vegetarian as there are a ton of great combos that are veggie friendly. Can’t wait for our next visit, this place is a gem!

Giving 5 stars because I support this business and love having a salad place in the area! Only critique is to quality check the toppings, as the grilled chicken had some cartilage in it, and something in the salad was crunchy but not good crunchy, almost like grains of sand (might have been cilantro that wasn’t washed thoroughly?). Also wish there was a light/medium/heavy ask for dressing, as the dressing was a bit too light and I had done takeout so I couldn’t return to ask for a bit more. But otherwise a great place with great options, and next time would prefer to eat in.

I can’t believe I slept on this spot for as long as I did we finally ordered from them tonight and it was absolutely outstanding. The salad portions are generous, and the nachos from a salad place were unexpectedly absolute fire . We will be returning here many many many times.
