I politely asked if I could exchange it for something else since it was inedible. I was told their policy doesn’t allow returns, exchanges, or refunds. When I asked if I could at least get my money back, they said no. The only thing they offered was a free bottle of water. Unfortunately, when I asked to see this policy, they couldn’t show it.
Although the supervisor (Claudia) was respectful, I still ended up paying for something I had to throw away. Very disappointing experience. Frankly, shame on the management for a policy like this.
P.S. I saw the reply from Mary Bakery, but honestly, it didn’t address the issue. I want to be clear. I don’t support places where policies aren’t applied fairly or consistently to all customers. I suggest your policies should be clearly posted for customers, so everyone knows what to expect. For that reason, I won’t be returning.
The display of sandwiches, pastries, and other treats is absolutely beautiful and very tempting. I found the prices to be quite reasonable for the quality and presentation. While the croissants were a bit underwhelming, I enjoyed the subs, which come in a nice variety of flavors. The sweets are also quite good and definitely worth trying.
Overall, Marie Bajeot is a great spot that I would recommend checking out.
While the pastries steal the show, I wouldn’t recommend the salads or the salmon toast; they didn’t quite hit the mark for me. Instead, focus on the bread, the croissants, and the quiches, which are equally delightful and worth every bite.
Overall, if you find yourself here, indulge in their baked offerings—you won’t be disappointed!
Prices are very affordable, especially considering the quality of the food. The bakery is clean and well-maintained, with a nice, cozy atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile.
One of the best perks is their end-of-day deal: a fantastic 50% off discount! It’s a wonderful way to enjoy their tasty treats at an even better price. I highly recommend Marie Blachere Bakery to anyone looking for great food and a pleasant dining experience.
