This is a hole in the wall place that I love to come to. They are a dying breed and I hope they never go away. It is a small joint and is more of a diner than restaurant. They serve good ole comfort food. Everything is nicely done and the service is friendly. I got a soup and a salad. Both very good. Prices are reasonable too. Check it out!

If you are a black person , this place is not for you. Everything is barely cooked , cheese is just placed on top of eggs, the pancakes are super dry, the meat patties was only warmed and not browned as I asked the girl who took the order. I spent 16 plus dollars on a meal that is causing me a great dissatisfaction. I am pregnant and working around the area , it was my first time trying a full cooked menu selection as I had the egg salad sandwich the other day which was bland as well, this was a very important meal of the day and I’m almost In Tears over the dishes. Thank good I ordered fries it’s the only enjoyable thing on my playe. He offered to make the order over but it’s clear that they just run a business food is not made from love. I will not be returning .

I admit I wasn’t expecting much. The place we wanted to go to apparently burned down (yikes), so we were looking for second options in walking distance.
And Yelp did not lead us wrong.
This cute little hole in the wall gave me the best breakfast I’ve had out in a while.
The waffle is really good – more of a savory than sweet batter, just right for sharing with something sweet like fruit or syrup (though I dearly wish they used real syrup, which they do not, alas).
Husband’s omelette with Taylor Ham was fantastic, perfectly cooked. His fries were tasty and made us think of Wendy’s from our youth.
My eggs were actually cooked right – medium with crisp edges.
The bacon I asked for crispy – a dangerous proposition, since most places either ignore that and produce chewy salted leather, or burn the hell of it. Not here. The bacon was crisp and flavorful and delicious.
Seriously. This is great. Friendly staff, good portion size, good price – cash only, so you know, but it’s worth it.
We take the train here often, and it’s so good to find a decent breakfast place so close.
You won’t regret a visit.

I ordered food from here recently. I ordered steak with fried onions, eggs, home fries and rye toast. My steak and onions was well seasoned. I added salt and pepper to my eggs and potatoes to add flavor. My coffee was average. My toast was good. I was at work on an impromptu call. So, I was late picking up my order. I received a courtesy phone call from the restaurant. I thought that was a cool thing to do. The ladies at the checkout was really pleasant. This is a small establishment with very minimal seating. I’d try something else on the menu if I came here again.

This place is small, but gets a 5-star because it does really deserve it. I was however thrown off by the entitlement of the American tip culture, so I didn’t tip as I would have liked. To the lady who took care of us, thank you.
