Only knock 2 stars off is the staff doesn’t speak English well. So the POS (point of sales) isn’t used properly and they overcharge you for your items.
The tricky part is if you order Togo they skimp out on the portion of food, but if you order at the register they overcharge you.
The Moe protein option at the time today was $12.95 online and $1.99 for steak instead of cheaper chicken/ground beef.
But the lady rang up on her end $19.95!!!
Ummm…I grabbed the bowl top and covered the food left it, and then I bout it for $14 online. So I reckon not only do they not offer the same discounts (I used 1800) points but they also are pressing on the POS “extra meat” when the actual Moe’s protein includes extra meat already.
I can confirm they give two scoops for Moe protein but at my usual Moes I think the staff if they like you just usually give our family of 6, 1 1/2 or two scoops.
So this place technically is doing it by the book.
But they can definitely be called stingy compared to other Moes and slightly dishonest like many reviews say for not charging fairly. This is a management lack of training and lack of English communication.
So just order your item, and then buy it online, and get the best portion and deal.
Good luck your screwed either way
“How did they even get that job, if they can’t cook a quesadilla?”, Said my six year old. This new crew has brought down this restaurant for sure, and they are ok giving out extremely burnt food, appearently. We used to come here all the time, to a great set of employees. We have been here recently without anything notable, but today was different. When I walked in two of the three staff were helping one customer at the start of the line. It took a while and one of them then asked me for my order, but it was odd because I wasn’t at the start of the line yet. I ordered the quesadilla and the prep was fine and it was put on the grill. I ordered a kids quesadilla, and she took a long time looking around and then got a regular size one. Then the guy in charge told her no that wasn’t the right one. So then all three of them go to look for the right size, and I guess they couldn’t find any, so she continued with what she had, and then she put that one on the grill. I was starting to wonder about the time on the grill but didn’t think too much of it. Then I ordered my burrito, and there was a good bit of confusion, clearly a language barrier, at least. Also they still didn’t have pork, second time in a row. About the time they were to grab the other food off the grill the guy asked if I wanted a side. I told him I wanted a cup of queso, and he tells me to tell the other lady that was making the burrito. This was odd, so I try to wait a second, but then he comes back to ask again. I tell him, and he holds up a small side cup, so I have to clarify two or three times. I couldn’t tell the quality of the food, it was mostly behind the chips machine. I then had to ask about the kids drink, and I didn’t even get to the cookie, and then he says, I’ll throw in a free cookie, um ok sure. I pay, even leaving a small tip, which I shouldn’t have done. It was a poor counter experience for sure, and I just wanted out of there. I then got in the car and that’s when I could tell something was burnt. It was really bad. When I got home my wife found the results. Super burnt, both quesadillas, had to salvage what we could. There is no way they couldn’t tell this when they were prepping and bagging. The fact that people can mess up, that’s fine. But the fact that this made it out the door and they were ok with that, and that I’m assuming he was trying to bribe me in some way with a free cookie, yeah this is not ok. We have come to this place a lot since we’ve lived here, many years, but this will last, and idk if I want to go back. This is simply unacceptable.
