We celebrated my Mom’s 80th birthday here and rented out a room for the special occasion. We requested that the bartender create 2 special cocktails for the event, and both were delicious! The service was top-notch, and food was amazing! You have to try the mushroom souffle!

The service was excellent and the food very good. The portions where on the small side but not too small, just leaving space for all the dishes they offer. The dessert was excellent as well. Best Italian food in Waltham for sure.

Food was great, service was fantastic! Restaurant layout was good and design was very cute! Parking was available behind the place. Everything was clean and well maintained, would definitely go back!

We came here for our anniversary. It was an unplanned venue but they had availability at the last minute. We used to come to this restaurant at the previous location on Main and Prospect St. My memories of this restaurant was quite fond. Unfortunately, I cannot say my experience at the new location was good. The atmosphere and decor are great. The parking is fairly convenient; just wished that you can enter from the parking lot instead going to the front. The least impressive part of this restaurant is the food and value. The food portions are pretty small for the price. The food is just “ok”. There are many restaurants in a “lower” tier that are better. I would try other places before considering here, such as Fiorella’s in Newton or any place in North End. The service was a bit slow (they apparently forgot us). Once they knew we existed, the service was more prompt.

A different twist to Italian cuisine. We never imagined having Bokchoy in an Italian dish 😛 The drinks are nice. The food tasted great. Highly recommend booking in advance since the place is on the smaller side and tends to fill up really quickly. Ample parking available on the back side of the restaurant. Dressy causal dressing recommended.

My second time dining here and once again had a great experience. This time I sat at the bar. It was a relatively quiet Thursday night but the bar was busy.

Il Capriccio is an institution. The food is outstanding and the service is great. What I love about it is they’re really focusing on quality not flash or “Instagram-able” stuff. Too many restaurants these days focus on the visuals but serve you average-tasting food at high prices. Not Il Capriccio. They’re consistently excellent. A little more money but worth every penny. Bring your foodie friends and your taste buds will appreciate their difference.

Food was delicious and I especially loved the well crafted cocktails. Beautiful place also. If only they could allow dogs outside during summer

Always loved Il Capriccio’s food but never liked their ambiance/decor of previous location. Now with the new space down the street, it’s a much better experience, and their food was just delicious and beautifully plated. Sommelier Jan is always so informative and gracious!
