I learned about Junie’s after watching Fat Joe new show on Netflix, he was interviewing DJ Khalid and they both talked about this restaurant. Chile let me start by saying that the owner is so sweet and friendly the food … the food smell so good but taste wonderful. I had the jerk chicken with rice n peas and cabbage with sauce on the side…I also had a Jamaican Pineapple Soda 10 out of 10 10 10. If you’re in Miami you need to bust a move and go to Junie’s you will not be disappointed… WE DA BEST

Great location to pick up a decent plate of Jamaican food. I’ve tried different dishes and everything is always pretty good. Service is not great and a bit slow, but everything l’ve had here is good.

The wait time here is HORRIBLE. I attempted to call ahead for my food and no one answered the phone so I went in person and only ONE person was there working. While she was pleasant, her working alone in such a busy time is crazy. They need to hire more staff. The restaurant smelt like the sewage, that was a major turn off! I can’t imagine sitting in there to eat. My food was a little salty nonetheless, I enjoyed it.

Food was great. Service and Friendliness wasn’t a problem. I didn’t like the long wait time. Owner may want to hire an extra personal during busy hours to get people in and out quicker.
I went back a few days later. I always call my order in so it would be ready when i arrive. Its never ready upon arrival. I always have a long wait. The cashier was arguing with another customer. As good as the food is, i dont think i will return. When you are in business, you dont argue with your customers. Even if you are right. You fix the problem and make them happy so they will come back and refer you whether you profit, loose, or draw on the transaction

This worst restaurant I have been to, grave insult to your hard earn money, no customer service, poor serving of food, awful tasting food.
These people behave like it’s take or leave it attitude, seems like you begging them.
And, the call themselves Jamaican, this place has nothing with class.
For you guys, I know opening a restaurant business is easiest to do, I don’t do it because I like challenging stuff.
Those people who like your food, just don’t know good food and superior customer service.
I can bet they haven’t got a catering order in months.
I work hard for my money, you got more than I, but, I am going 5 miles to get great customer service and quality prepared food.

The food is usually very good. I have eaten here several times. However, they need to work on the service. Oh boy. I still go because I know I will get a good and authentic Jamaican meal, and I try to support my people. Order before you go to reduce wait time.

Prices too dam high. The food is good but the ambiance is ugly. Terrible terrible customer service. And terrible service is an understatement. This place used to be packed with customers, but it was empty on a Saturday. Rice and peas are not the same as it used to be. They have only one size container (L) but they spread the food to make you think that you’re getting a lot, but it’s about a medium portion of food. The place has never been upgraded. It l looks old and out dated, which it absolutely is. Tighten up and fly right.
