I was just talking with some friends about how we wanted bagels and we all disagreed on Alex’s. There’s one girl specifically in there every time who is so atrociously rude for no reason. As somebody who is her age and has been in customer service forever, I get it, but I have never mistreated a customer in that way. I had a visitor recently who went in and came out to tell me how rude the workers are. Like please get them out or speak to them. They’re practically all unapproachable and I do not want to go despite liking the food. You feel stupid for asking anything, they’re very short with you. They stick to one word responses and shout at you asking if you want a drink immediately. What happened to hello how are you? Maybe some customer service training to I can have bagels in peace

Absolutely love Alex’s Bagel Shop!
The bagels are always fresh, chewy on the inside, and perfectly crisp on the outside — just how real bagels should be! The flavors are fantastic, and you can tell everything is made with care. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and quick, even when it’s busy.
I’ve tried several varieties and every one is delicious — whether you go classic with cream cheese or build your own breakfast sandwich, you can’t go wrong. The coffee is also great and pairs perfectly with the bagels ☕️
This place is a gem — definitely my new go-to for a cozy, satisfying breakfast or brunch stop!

Everything bagel? More like nothing bagel. Alex, how much could you possibly be saving to gyp people in this way. This is a widely shared opinion. Do better.

The bagels are great, but the prices are not.
There was no half dozen or dozen bagel option listed on the menu, which is a first for any bagel place I’ve ever gone to. I ASSUME a bakers dozen of bagels will cost you $24 since one bagel is $1.95, but again, it’s not listed on the menu.
That same bagel will cost you over $5 to have it toasted with cream cheese! It’s a shame they’re so expensive considering the bagel itself is very good.

Fantastic! The cream cheese is without peer and the servers are all very friendly, I work nearby so it’s great to have a nice place like this for a quick snack! Would (and frequently do) recommend!

The bagels were hard ( stale) not soft like fresh bagels would be. They were very skimpy on cream cheese considering it was almost 11.00 for 2 bagels w cream cheese. 1st time trying them today & will be our last.

Cinnamon and Sugar bagels are a must!
Hibiscus iced tea is pretty great too!
I used to frequent this shop when I lived in the area (As NY Bagels are tough to come across in the area), and I popped in this past weekend.
The shop remains busy, cutely decorated, but the employees did not greet us with a hello or a smile. More of an in and an out experience yet it remains a solid bagel shop in the area. Kind of a bummer to read the recent reviews of similar instances when it never used to feel that way.

Average at best. Ordering seemed a bit confused. Not sure why. Didn’t know what taylor ham was. Ham egg cheese was microwaved. Bagels are small. Had to ask to have it cut in half. Wasn’t busy.

Awful customer service. Kids are not paying attention. A lot of “yup” and “uh huh” answers. If you have a question….good luck. Bagel sandwich was very mediocre and skimpy for the price. I’ve had better food and service at Dunkin, shockingly.

Almost $10 for a medium hot chocolate and bagel with plain cream cheese is outrageous. The girl at the counter who helped me has an attitude problem. Won’t be returning
